There are serious double standards at play. The board would erupt if I said anything negative about Goodes's beard, but you happily sledge Rampe's moustache.

Bullshit. That is beyond stupid. The board would erupt, quite rightly, if you placed a racist connotation on his beard. If he grew a Ned Kelly beard like Malceski I'd be sledging him for that. They look ridiculous. The defence of Goodes is about race and his contribution to society. It's nothing to do with facial hair. Get a grip.

I'm starting to think that he'll go as well. I'd be very disappointed however. He's one of the top 10 players in the league and last time I looked was 2nd in the Brownlow odds. If he did go we'd have to get a top 4-7 draft pick or a young gun in exchange.

I wonder what would happen if we had say pick 4, pick a young gun with that pick and let Mills go through to the next bidder? He seems to be falling down the list slightly. I could only imagine the look on Fat Eddies chins.

Heh, poster on the draft rumours thread said they would want a 6-10 pick for steven motlop. If we are going by that formula we would need pick one for hanners lol

Who gets moved on from this years list? Goodes and Shaw will probably retire.

The only players I would consider moving on are BJ, Marsh, and demoting AJ to the rookie list until he's ready.

I think the first few are self explanatory. Goodes, Shaw, Towers, B Jack are almost certain to go. It wouldn't take much of an offer to tempt Marsh and Hewett I'd have thought. I also have question marks on Richards. I think Grundy will be offered something very tempting but will likely stay. I think we might get some relief in Tippett and Reid's next contracts too

The issue will be do we have enough currency for Mills and Dunkley. With this in mind I could see Bird, McGlynn, Lloyd, Cunningham and maybe Jetta having a price on their head. I think we'll make a pick and then try and upgrade it as far as we can... eg. pick 40 for Cunningham, then pick 40 and McGlynn for 30, pick 30 and Bird for pick 20 etc etc
