Are his knees expected to improve or is it just a matter of prolonging what ability he has left in them?

If the stem cells do what they hope I expect there could be further improvement. Essentially they're growing new tissue. Not everyone's convinced of their efficacy so it'll be interesting to see. Goodes is a bit of a guinea pig. If he starts growing huge breasts they could come in handy in a marking contest to hold out his opponent. The AFL may have to come up with a new interpretation of the 'hand in the back' rule.

I'd like to thank our player management team for re-signing Hanners. Thereby effectively killing the plans of recruiting staff all over the AFL and saving us from a gazillion Big footy declarations that he was 'in the bag'.
