I would have been devastated had he left pre the 2014 GF but if ANY ONE of that team that wore red & white that day moved on, other than Kennedy, I would say, thanks for your services but we will move forward in a positive direction without you.

We did it with Bazza & Jolly & improved immediately.

Finals pressure is where you need to stand up. Untouchable players make their names in GFs.
The Hawks have 20 of them.
We have maybe 2!

He was talking about it on the Sunday Football Show earlier this year around June. He was quite dismissive of returning to RL.

From 2013:

There was of course this article from 2014...

In short who the heck knows what's going on. Contract in 2013 was for 2 years.
Where does it say 2 years? It says multi-year... that could be anything, but likely to be more than 2.

He was, as well on the Sunday Football Show earlier this year and his contract was discussed that it ends this year.

Its odd that nothing either way has been talked about much, guess all the focus is on a certain higher paid player

Posted a video on that Jack partner was quizzed by Hamo on Gameday about luring Jack back to Perth.

Nothing was made out of that rumor but i thought at the time it was interesting as it was the first i have ever heard it.

Does anyone have a connection about Jack partner and Perth?

A fact to consider with KJ is if he was out of contract he would be listed as a Free Agent at one of the many times the AFL has released their Free Agent list, the fact that he hasn't been means he either isn't out of contract until next year (we put him as out of contract for this year on this list as a "best guess" because he have never had a year to go by) or he has already re-signed and no fuss made.

I wouldn't be worried about it to be honest

Great news for allir.

The club needs to start thinking of the future. Id be aiming to get 10-15 games into ted this year and gift some significant games to allir and xr. Throw them in the deep end and see how they cope. Even if they get belted, give them 4 games in a row to adjust and we can make some educated assessments on them

There's a good chance one of them will start the season if they do well in the present season comp and train well. They've got 12 months to demonstrate their worth before the club recruits a ready-mades replacement.

I wouldn't be surprised if a small part of the reason we went for Sinclair over Leunberger was to provide some coverage as a ruck/forward if Tippett was to leave (or be pushed out for TPP reasons). Not saying that'd be our intention, just that it gives us a back up plan.
