Depends on what they mean by a year early. If they mean from the group that is out of contract from next years group it will be either Reid or Mills, so I would put my money on it being from this years group and it being either Mitchell or Heeney (money on Heeney)

What i find hilarious is that everyone was telling us that all of our players will walk out on us..yet they all sign and better yet....most our long term deals.

Id be extremely surprised if tippo left. Mitchell had the perfect opportunity to leave at the end of 14 when he wasnt a regular and decided to stay.

Imo mitchell can be our most important mid in the near future if he tidies up a few areas . I dont think mitchell has terrible skills but rather gets a bit hungry at goal or makes poor football decisions. If he can tidy up his decision making and make better choices with the ball in hand, he will be a very, very damaging player. Great tackler and an exceptional acummulator with elite possessions out of a contest...he is a very valuable player and one that is not easy to find. Needs to be our next player signed up.....clubs will be knocking

With parker and hanners signed ling term, and the hasty assumption of heeney and mills being here for a long time (given they are nsw boys), i can see other clubs pitching the old "you will never be number one there, you will always be behind the likes of parker, heeney, mills etc, come to us where you will be number 1 and be paid as such".

Could be a huge selling point for a guy as talented as mitchell

2 years ago oppo clubs could throw the "you're too good for the neafl, you'll be first 22 here" at him and he chose to stay and work his way into our side

I reckon Mitchell wont be going anywhere soon.

Mills hasnt played a single senior game yet. he might be a very talented junior player but i wouldnt be banking on him to take over from Kennedy.
