The Giants pounced on fellow locals such as Josh Bruce, Anthony Miles, Jacob Townsend and Mark Whiley at the end of that year, but overlooked Cunningham, who was snapped up by the Swans at pick No.93 in that season's rookie draft.
Wouldn't be too concerned. It's called "fishing for a market rate" - it's a negotiating tactic. His manager will probably go back to the Swans with the ballpark GWS offer and say "See, this is what my client is worth a few k's west, so give us that plus a little more."Anyone else heard the rumour of Keiren jack speaking to GWS?

If Kizza leaves then I'll eat my pants. Not even my new light work pants... My smelly old weekend lawn-mowing jeans.
Heeney is listed as this year? Surely we signed him for three years? We seem to with most first rounders and whilst he wasn't a first rounder by definition we effectively used one to take him?
Just saw on Facebook that Jack has signed for another 3 years. Swans for life.
Edit: Damn it, i typed too many words. Punts only wrote 3 and beat me to it by a second.
Hopefully Tom Mitchell is next.http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/2016-04-22/jack-a-swan-for-life
Here's the link for anyone interested!
Even though he was obviously never going to leave, it's good to have this sorted now to avoid any speculation from the moronic Melbourne media.
Just Towers and Xavier RIchardsWho's actually left to snatch up?
Mitchell and Lloyd?
OP updated for the Jack extension. The clear priorities now are Mitchell and Laidler, with a couple of others like Lloyd and Hewett to look at
Surely Laidler's not going anywhere. I'd have thought he'd be almost a dead-set guarantee to re-sign.OP updated for the Jack extension. The clear priorities now are Mitchell and Laidler, with a couple of others like Lloyd and Hewett to look at
I'm just imagining the type of offers we'd get for Heeney lol. Not that we'd take any!
Fyfe, their first round draft pick, and next year's first round? Not for all the tea in China.
Fyfe, their first round draft pick, and next year's first round?
Hmmm... I wonder how far into the future they can go? Every first round draft pick for the next decade?![]()
