Sydney midfielder Tom Mitchell is set to commit to the Swans with a long-term deal.
Jay Clark confirmed the news on the Sunday Rub.
"In the next 10 to 14 days, he will re-sign a long-term deal at Sydney, as long as five years," said Clark.
"That's what [Luke] Parker signed, that's what [Dan] Hannebery signed."

Dumb question, why don't list managers re-secure players from their own team in June, not tell anyone and just pretend its not done so list managers from others teams waste time chasing an already signed player. It would means we can go chase what they would be chasing if they had the time and the knowledge of who is actually available like we do...

Because the player's agent would already know their players are signed when a list manager from another club asks if they would be interested.
