We literally sold our future...this one right now we are in which is currently 0-9....for him and signed him up on massive coin only to get a b+ grade player at best for most of his career.

While on all things Scotty Cummings, his lad Harley is having a pretty good season as a defender with the Swan Districts Colts team, he is not draftable till next season.

He doesn't qualify for a F&S, but I raise his name as one to watch out for, as I do like the way he goes about his football.

I would say if he is being offered two years it is because the club are worried about allowing the bottoming out to be any steeper than it already is. We might not win a game this year. I am sure they think that they can't afford to do anything that makes that situation any worse over the next two years than it already is. Even if you could argue that the future outlook 3 - 5 years from now would be brighter if they cleared out Kelly and others like him out and pumped those games into young players. I would rather they cleared him out. But i understand why they are reluctant to.

Yeah if they go that way it’s not ideal positional wise unless Ginbey and/or Hough make it as a mid in the future.

But we are probably still in the a position of pick the best available, especially if there is a gap between him and the next best. Hopefully he’s the next Tom Stewart for us if we select him.

Hopefully he’s kicking is elite and Ginbey, Duggan, Cole and Baker ain’t ideal players to be leading the rebounds out of 50.

I haven't watched any WAFL properly or live, but I would love to know who has and what his best attributes are?
There seems to be any real lack of midfield options in the MSD that seem to knock you over to pick them from what I can watch and hear from others.

Tom Evans looks the pick but he is a smaller HB, 19, 180 with very good skills and less developed.
Sellwood looks to have very good skills and size and at 21, 186 is a good size and marks the ball very well and maybe with his size he can be used a bit through the midfield in the Hough role?

If Clancy Dennis has a very good game in the under 21's he would be a live chance and list need.
I am open to all options as long as they are the best talent.
I would be open to putting Jamieson on the LTI list to open up another list spot if we thought there were 2 players worth drafting, if that's feasible?

isn't one of the best 40 players on our list is pretty funny.

It's not Tim's fault we haven't moved past him yet, or Cripps' fault or Yeo's or Duggan's or Coles etc.

These are bitter cold days of a rebuild where your list if full of guys who need time develop and guys who are old/spuds.

It's not like we have a salary cap squeeze, in fact the opposite is true and we probably need to find guys to pay.
