Great post, agree with just about everything. Cameron for the right price.

Its an indictment of the Nesbitt/Bell/Simpson regime that over half of our playing list is clogged with players who aren't up to AFL standard. If you need anymore proof just have a look at how weak our Beagles side is.
Time for a huge cull of the list as well as all the assistant/development coaches. What was dished up yesterday was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable . If drastic action isn't taken during the off season then Pyke, Worsfold, Bell and the non football people on the board should get the arse.
It's time for Gaines to be seen doing something instead of resting on the laurels of her achievements at F.M.G.
If FMG had performed under her like the Eagles have, Twiggy would have kicked her arse out the door in short time.
We the members haven't heard a peep from her since she was appointed chairperson.

Pick 1 would be nowhere near enough for Curtin this year. I'd even debate if both our top picks would be. This years draft absolutely sucks and doesn't even have one stand out gun to take at pick one to redeem it.

Playing in a good team helps, but Curtin has scary levels of potential that I didn't think he would have.

WC should grab Dyson Sharp. He has captain written all over him and is the least likely to not make it.
Some people have questioned his ceiling, but every time he goes on the field he performs.
He is that big bull inside mid that every team needs.

It's born from the idea that Curnow supposedly wanted to go to the Gold Coast. The Suns were reportedly into pick 2 if we got it. They could trade picks but they still need points for their kids so they would have to give something of value up. Walter would be pushed back to the reserves if the Suns picked up Curnow, plus he's a Perth boy and grew up an Eagles fan.

No news, just a concept trade idea.

Provided the draft cost was ok I would be open to adding him to our list.
Would be best 22 and helps out in a position if real need .
Given that I’m sceptical that we ever get much more out of Yeo another senior mature mid could be more than handy.

If the Saints land TDK and are able to keep Wanganeen- Milera, you would image their cap would be busted and need some serious and urgent relief.

What good does changing to another Vic club do, or randomly shifting off to the Fold Coast? Hill has no-issue with Collingwood and is contracted. Talk about drubbing up a bullshit story over absolutely nothing. "Carlton should be asking about him...." He reckons.

Would definitely give Steele a look - his form has likely peaked as he is not as effective as he was but he'd still be a more durable short term option, if we really are looking at the likes of Conigilo or Tom Mitchell (both of whom would be more likely to keep Elliot Yeo company in the rehab room.)

I can't see RTB pushing his skipper out the door though and if Steele was keen, Hawthorn would be all over him to improve their mediocre midfield, a few others too no doubt, based in Vic, that wouldn't involve moving his life to Perth for 3 years (to play with the wooden spooners and meet Harley.)

Hawks really dont need another workhorse type mid to add to their almost entirely workhorse midfield, they need some starpower, or an A-grader. Day is the closest thing they have to that and he cant get in the park.

Dont think Steele is the right fit there, steele fits our list perfectly though tbh.

Don't know why people are fantasizing about getting Curtin, no way the crows trade him and recon no way he wants out, looks really settled there and he's looking at a flag tilt.
