Wat.

He just got absolutely annihilated on the weekend by his direct opponent, and not for the first time either.

Both Bailey and Flynn are just as bad as each other as ruckman. They both enjoy giving career best games to their opposition. Cameron has never been that bad.

You want to keep him for another 3 years, on top of the 7 we've seen so far?
Interestingly, Cameron started being the main ruck in 2022, two years older than Bailey is now.

Despite this his first two games he lost the hitouts 44-15, and 33-14.

I doubt BW actually makes it as a first ruck but it’s funny to say Cameron’s never been that bad despite his struggles.

One bad game hardly means Cameron is a spud nor should we not target him.

Good lord, the knee jerk on this board each and every week is next level.

Cameron still had 16D, 7CP, 3 intercepts, 3 score involvements, 3 clearances and 24 hitouts to be his team's highest ranked player by CD. 3rd highest on the ground behind Meek and Newcombe.

Unfortunately big boy Lloyd did him in as Hawthorn ran rampant, but that's not terrible for us if it lowers his trade value.

Can't remember the last time a ruckman had those stats for us?

Coxy?

Did natanui ever have those numbers?

have any category b rookie list players ever developed into a regular AFL player? is it worth it?

This guy was Cat B and is about to equal Dean Cox for games played

Camerons issue right now is he is unsupported in the ruck. When he has Mason Cox for a chop out he performs much better. At Eagles id like to see him have Archer Reid giving him a chop out regularly. We shouldnt be running him into the ground like Collingwood do

My opinion only but think Jack was given a bit of a raw deal by the coach earlier in the season when Archer kept getting picked ahead of him for no real reason as Archer couldnt find the goals and things have just gone south from there - and for whatever reason Jack seems to be carrying more condition than he did last year. I can remember Mark Stone raving about Jack’s potential last year and more or less said “watch this space” - so it’s a bit weird how much Jack has fallen off the perch.

Agree it feels like Mini loves Archer Reid and isn't a fan of JWill. For where we are right now I think we'd be better off with the extra experience, if you can call a 22 year old with less than 50 games experienced.

Bailey Williams had an out of the box game like that against Geelong once...I think it was in Geelong too...disposals in the 20s, few clearances, won the hitouts too if I remember correctly. I'm sure someone around here can pull up the stats

Lol it won't do my argument any favours, but in the same game vs Meek earlier in the season... our thicc boy Matt Flynn had

16D, 10CP, 5 intercepts, 7 score involvements, 4 clearances, 26 hitouts and was the highest ranked Eagle on the ground.

Basically better numbers than Cameron had in every metric last night besides ranking points (handful less) ^

Lloyd was also BOG that game as well, by an even bigger amount than he was last night.
