Looking at Callum Wilkie today in the Saints game and it made me wonder if we could turn Bailey Williams into a key back. Has the physical attributes and mentality. Could easily do the ruckwork in the D50.

Just trade the guy at the point, which I'm sure he'd be pretty quick to agree to if we told him that was the plan.

Has been mentioned a bit. Haselby even asked Bailey if that was a possibility. If we replenish the ruck stocks it is something that should be looked at. Biggest issue is he drops marks that he shouldn’t and that will kill you at AFL level.
As a forward you have a defender breathing down your neck and you're trying to run in patterns to get separation. I just think he has more potential than Brock or playing a underdeveloped player like Reid and Shanahan down there. Edwards and J Williams look far too slow.

Yeah, depending on the off season it might well be worth a try.

Looking at the 2019 draft, using the picks we naturally had, obviously we can't know for sure but I suspect instead of TK we may have ended up with Dev Rob or Mitch Georgiades. Chad Warner is the obvious diamond in the rough but it seems a stretch to think we'd have taken him with our first pick. Maybe our second.

Only position he has a long term future at the club.
I just don't see it.I don't see him having anything other than athleticism and height that makes him a candidate to be anything other than a makeshift backman. None of the tangible craft or skills.

Would rather trade or delist than shove him down back and hope for the best.

I don’t see it either Mop. Trade is the best option for BBW. Would be nice if Collingwood would bite.

After my almighty and salt laced rant about the absolute cleveland steamer of a performance against Norf last year, BBBBBBBW has grown on me a lot, but the issue is he isn't good enough at any one aspect right now. He's not performing as a first choice anything.

Our best forward structure, presuming OA is gone, is clearly Shanahan, Waterman with the question mark being whether the third is Archer Reid, Jack Williams or someone else. I personally like so many others hope Archer Reid becomes our #1 ruck resting forward.
Bailey can pop up with the odd goal and maybe next year suits him to a tee, but there are times where he'll drop a sitter or have it hit his schnoz or just.. not.

IF he's our first ruck then we'll likely lose 2/3 contests so our already lacklustre midfield is on the back foot.

In a better side with more help he may well do wonders, maybe Sydney or something.

I'm inclined to think that the Hawthorn pick becomes Darcy Cameron. The fact nothing further has transpired there thinks maybe we're in with a chance.

How many times does everyone need to be told to move on from the past and from the Kelly deal.

Bohemian will be upset with you all ffs

Indeed. And we all know that talking about Carlton vs Hawthorn's draft picks is far more fashionable right now.

Are we any actual chance on alex davies?
He had clubs chasing him last years cats and Pies from memory. Do they sell him the idea that he will be best 23 and does he bite? If so no. If he wants more certainty of playing mid at afl level the yes.

Teams will be lining up for him

We have the cash to make an offer he can’t refuse.
he just seems a solid B grade mid with some upside and some skills, perfect for what we need to complement the kids in the midfield.
If we can find a decent mid in the 24-27yo bracket and draft 2 high quality mids with picks 1 & 2 we will go a long way to improving our team.

More importantly he's far too young for our taste in recruits
