Bloody hell Ive given my controllers a belt over the years. In the past 5 I reckon Ive had about 12 controllers.

I even gave it a thump tonight.

Then there's the inevitable sense of regret, and figuring out a way to test if the rumble triggers are still working properly.

I used to smash controllers playing MW1 and 2 and immediately regretted it every time I did knowing I had to cough up for another. Then the Mortal Kombat 9 challenge tower got me so frustrated that I punched the floor instead and ended up with a plate and 4 screws in my hand. Was pretty good after that until the ridiculous NHL 14 'come back code' made me smash my first control in years last year... about 2 months before the PS4 came out so I had to fork out just to get me by

The only time I get angry in life is playing games and, of course, watching North.

Have thrown PS3 controllers many times. Thing is pretty strong.

Never felt the need to smash a controller. If I feel agitated, simply just switch system off. Went through a few PS3 controllers last gen due to knocking over drinks. And the sticks were badly made.

Back when I first got my PS3 I used to eat a lot of potato chips, so I'd stain my analogue sticks.

The same year I threw my controller at my brick wall covering my fireplace.

sports games are the worst for me, DBC 14 giving my remotes a fair work out, same with AFL live 2.
generally i'll bash my hand into the side of it, but i have been known to place it on the ground and smash my hand into the right thumbstick.
i have one controller that whenever it vibrates the right side of it opens.

Never smashed a controller but I've sworn at them, shaken them violently and blamed them for my lack of skill. Games that come to mind include NBA 2K games (double OTs), losing connection during online sessions, Demon Soul games and most recently turning off Zelda: Link Between Worlds after dedicating half a day to it without saving, blame that one on fatigue. Thankfully a 3DS ain't cheap and common sense prevailed.

Im not really one to throw my controller, but I do strangle them would be the best way to describe it. like I just squeeze my controller extremely tight to the point where it feels like its about to smash.

From doing this the L2 button on one of my PS3 controllers is extremely sensitive so whenever I'm playing a FPS I always end up throwing grenades or flash bangs unintentionally.

If I ever get Dark Souls, I'd fear not for my controllers but for the TV itself, the enternainment unit, perhaps even appliances in other rooms.

Fighting Tiny on some PS2 Crash Bandicoot game caused me to throw the controller into the ground with such force it bounced and shattered the light above me.

I've also punched and shattered my monitor screen fighting uh Demogorgon on Balder's Gate 2 I think it was.

Ah angry teenage years.
