Just noticed an article/preview of the night on the CFC website.

Interesting to note that this year we get a live chat/blog from 7.30, as well as live streaming of the top 5 like last year.

The Friday night event will be covered comprehensively by Collingwoodfc.com.au from the Crown Palladium in Melbourne. That's right Matty. After reviewing the feedback from last year's Copeland coverage, we have added a live chat for the full duration of the night. It will cover all of the speeches, round-by-round voting updates and anything that might be of interest to supporters following at home.

It should be a great night!

For next year, periodic SMS updates (say, every 5 rounds?) of the leaderboard for those that aren't next to a PC would be a nice addition.

Well the club did send out a text to us all about voting for Licca on Dancing With The Stars (and then a second to correct a mistake in the text, lulz).

No, we want daily updates on who Hine and MM think are going to be our first round pick, and also hourly updates from the "horses mouth" during trade week.:p:p

An even better idea would be to post Mick's mobile number on here.

Then when I get home at 3am drunk, I can send him txts like "Miiiiiickkkk, yo. YO! listen, i've had this great idea. you ready? i'ma drop some knowledge. ready? ok. check it. I hear lamadlian tomlinson is not happy at san deigo. we can get him and he can run all the way and then kick goals after running the whole field. straight swap for leon they wont even notice the difference. pay him 2 mil and it'll be sweet. p.s i'm not racist."

That's a great Idea!

We're out having dinner with the 4 tables worth of legends members that missed the boat with regards to getting tickets.
Was thinking I might take the laptop with me, because we're running a sweep on the top 5 for the night.
 
Swanny will win it.

This is going to sound biased, but I can see Thomas creeping up the leaderboard. The club knows his role each week, and since I've been his Buddy Reporter this year I have kept an eye on him and he has done really well. So don't be suprised if he finishes top 5.
