Enright easily. Has been one of the best rebounding defenders in the league for a while now. Great disposal, fantastic decision maker, good in the 1-on-1s, consistent. He hasn't been a multiple All-Australian (and will go close to another one this year) for nothing. Would love a player like him at the Dons.

O'Brien has stalled this year and still has some big weaknesses in his game.

Already admitted Enright is the better player at the moment, he's had his entire prime to impress

But lets not kid ourselves.. go offer both players to every club and see how many pick Enright at 30 over Harry at 24

I'd pick the bloke who is more handy by foot. Enright. Harry O'Highball just isn't in Enright's class, never will be.

Poll says who is best, not who would you take regardless, if you asked Hawthorn, Carlton, West Coast and i would say Collingwood (ie clubs that are in a flag winning window) they would prob take Enright, as he is better right now.

So is this just who you would pick for this season or are we looking ahead?

Because if I could have either player, while I would admit Enright is the better player at the moment what about in 3 years when Enright is 33 and most likely retired while O'Brien is hitting his prime? Who would you rather have then?

Absolute Monty to pick Harry if we are looking beyond this year :thumbsu:
Talk about clutching at straws:rolleyes:
Poll is who is better, not who would you rather have in three years. Staying on topic the answer is Enright every single day of the week. Harry isn't and never will be in the same league and is an absolute douche on top of it.

Enright, quite comfortably too. Harry is a great player, however form pending Corey should go down as one of the best plyers of the last 25 years.

Hunt's footskills are absolutely elite though, very under-rated player back there.

Probably not the right place for it but i disagree. He's a very long kick no doubt, but tries to belt it too hard which sometimes causes the player he's kicking to pull off a much harder grab than needed since it is flying like a bullet, i don't think he handles pressure all that well either.

No club would pick the 30 year old over a 24 year old Harry, I'm happy with that :thumbsu:

Robbo/Steph
You're dribbling the same shit in every post.We get it,superstar Enright is an old fella while Harry "built like Tarzan, plays like Jane" is just a baby.

Well that's my opinion, not sure why it keeps being questioned so much, in the real world not a single club would take the 30yr old, I would have thought that self evident

Yet not a single club would take Swan over David Swallow so whos better?

Swan is not 30, find a relevant example

It would be like taking Tarrant over Phil Davis just because Tarrant is better at the moment and Davis may never reach AA level like Tarrant

ps: No club would take Tarrant in that scenario, even if you were in the premiership window you'd take the player with time on his side

Obiran is what 24 and physically developed not 19 or 20. Enright was and is still far better than Obrian. If Harry was at a club with a weaker defence he would be exposed.

And Swan is not 30, same in reverse

Wow, im not sure you could be more wrong... I would venture to say if O'Brien wasn't already in the black and white even Malthouse would pick Enright right now, a better player for 2-3 maybe 4 years having a tilt at the flag. I would take Enright last year and the year before for our flags and still have him now over O'Brien. But whatever...

Harry is only the reigning AA HB, yeah, i'd swap him for a 30 yr old

2010 FOUR'N TWENTY AFL ALL AUSTRALIAN TEAM
B:
James Frawley, (Melbourne), Brian Lake (Western Bulldogs), Corey Enright (Geelong)
HB: Brendon Goddard (St Kilda), Harry Taylor (Geelong), Harry O’Brien (Collingwood)

As a reward for his excellent 2008 season, he was awarded with his first All-Australian team selection. In 2009 after another superb season down back he got his second All-Australian team selection, this time starting on the field. He was also voted by his peers to be the league's most underrated player, as he had begun to make a name for himself as one of the league's most reliable non-key defenders with his superb overhead skills and cool, calm head. 2010 saw a third successive selection in the All-Australian team.

BP, HBF potato, putato, Opinion is fair enough, i disagree with yours, but respect it, KMR was just being ridiculous. Regardless the poll is who is better not who would you pick, Enright wins in the eyes of everyone except insanely one eyed pies fans.
