i cant believe how uninformed some of you posters are on Corey Jones, he is one of the most under rated players in the afl, can play tall and small and always finds it....i'd put them on par. Both great players.

You would have to give the points to Murphy, though I think Jones would excel in the Bulldogs' system too. Very underrated footballer - I remember him playing across HB and pushing up into the midfield against Geelong and picking up 30 kicks. So he's not strictly just a forward.

That said, it's still Murphy, but I don't think the gap is as big as you'd think. Murph is a gun of the highest order, and it will be interesting to see how CJ goes without Thompson in 2007. Is our most important forward and possibly even player now.
