I got a cold back in about July last year. Have had a issue with a mild sore throat and congestion since then. Doctors gave me two rounds of antibiotics plus prednisone 3 days only. Diminished a bit but comes straight back. Noticed it bad when I was driving home from Townsville singing loudly and started getting a sore throat. It’s been hard to sing since then which pisses me off.I get given prednisone when I get bad bouts, and that clears it in days. while this has been persistent and lingering, it’s a dry cough so not as devastating. That’s why I haven’t gone to get it seen to.
Partner doing better. How are you travelling? Both knowing you’ve got the CV and being in quarantine?

If you had any doubts Trump supporters are the stupidest f***ers on the planet, check this out.
Fox News has acknowledged the virus but now the argument has morphed into "We must save the economy, even if some of us die".I don’t get it. Are they the “corona virus is a hoax” people?
Hasn’t their beloved Fox News come around and acknowledged it’s a real thing and should be taken seriously?

Their electoral commissions are partisan and appointed by the party in power, so Republicans directed effort into getting into state government when censuses and electoral maps were being redrawn so they could control it. Super effective. Was chatting with somebody from Wisconsin. In the 2018 elections for the Wisconsin State Assembly (which consists of 99 seats), Democrats got 52.99% of the statewide vote while Republicans got 44.75%, but with the way the districts are gerrymandered that led to the Republicans having 63 seats and the Democrats having 36.
It's totally f’ed up. So glad we don't have to deal with that s**t here.
It's basically just dressed up facism. Anybody who supports that kind of practice has no respect for democracy and shouldn't have their opinions considered in any political debate.Their electoral commissions are partisan and appointed by the party in power, so Republicans directed effort into getting into state government when censuses and electoral maps were being redrawn so they could control it. Republican party has no respect for independence (see Trump sacking inspector generals willy nilly).
Issue is that you won’t really be able to reach a final conclusion on which way is best for a while yet. That's the Swedish plan, bugga the deaths lets keep the economy going. They have more deaths per 1 million population than the USA.
Be interesting at what stage the Swedes take issue with their government, apparently they typically have a high amount of faith and trust in their government.

Sweden’s way looks bad early, but once the virus is properly socialised the idea is the country becomes fairly immune.
Yeah it’s definitely playing the long game. It'll be interesting to see how that goes. They only have 12,000 cases right now, they'll probably need 500-600x that for herd immunity
Everyone should just let Trump's decision go.
After shifting the focus onto China and WHO, there won't be anyone left to the deflect the blame for his own bungling.
A lot has to do with how deaths are recorded as well. Some countries aren't recording deaths outside hospitals and cases that weren't tested as positive. Belgium I think are quite good at recording true deaths.Yeah it’s definitely playing the long game.
I really just don’t know enough about the technical specifics to say which is better. I’m not sure even the experts can be certain - it just needs to play out.
I guess you have to factor in the saving of their economy and the additional benefits that brings. Then again, if the worlds major economies are trashed you’d expect that to blow through Sweden anyway.

My satire radar is always way out of whack with Trump tweets - Is that a real one from him?
otherwise (and not a direct dig at you specifically, Dude316) can we have some acknowledgement if these fake tweets are indeed fake?

He will still deflect regardless. It's all he knows how to do.Everyone should just let Trump's decision go.

The all caps and spelling error was a nice touch. Bravo.I know he’s tweeted so much random garbage that sometimes it’s hard to tell if they’re real or not but I thought this would be obvious enough that I faked it.
