Just checked out that Bloomberg Vaccine tracker page. It's a beauty. Oz doesn't even register at the moment. It has figures for several countries of how many people have had 1 dose, and how many have had 2.

Twitter said it will permanently suspend accounts that repeatedly post COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
The social media site announced a plan to better inform users about false claims regarding COVID-19 vaccines, including labeling tweets that contain misleading information.
Twitter will use automated and human reviewers to identify and label misleading posts about COVID-19 vaccines.
Users that post misleading information on several occasions will be locked out of their accounts for as many as seven days. Users that receive five or more “strikes,” or notification that their posts were misleading, will be permanently suspended from Twitter.
“As health authorities deepen their understanding of COVID-19 and vaccination programs around the world, we will continue to amplify the most current, up-to-date, and authoritative information,” the company said in a release.
Twitter announced in December it would start removing misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.

So twitter aren't open minded.

When governments get power and control over people they are very reluctant to give it up...and so it begins.

he is admitting that up until now they have devoted more resources to stopping bananas and avocadoes at the border than meth.

Canada has joined the list of countries that will not vaccinate over 65s with Astra Zeneca.

Meanwhile Novavax has almost completed UK trials and expects US trials to be completed in a couple of months. It is expected that the US FDA will approve Novavax in May provided they accept UK data. If successful that will give the West at least 5 approved vaccines.

Once India comes on line with COVID vaccine production the supply will increase dramatically. Johnson&Johnson have struck a deal with Indian company Biological E to produce 500M doses of its vaccine and AstraZeneca has struck a deal with Indian Serum Laboratories to produce 1 billion doses of it's vaccine by the end of 2021. India has the capacity to become the world's second largest manufacturer of COVID vaccines.

Twelve months ago the experts were telling us we may never get a vaccine now we have 5.

FOOTNOTE: Germany have joined France in lifting the ban on AstraZeneca for 65+ which is good news for Australia. There have been some recent trial results out of the UK which have confirmed that the vaccine is safe for older people.

McGowan just needs to build his wall and be done with it.

ABC News carrying a report that 1,000s of doses of Pfitzer vaccine have been discarded because of a lack of the correct syringes. This has also happened in other countries such as Japan and India. Apparently a special syringe is required to extract the vaccine from the vial. No good getting the vaccine if you do not have enough syringes.

Those reports from Brazil do not look good. Not sure how accurate they are but the vaccines will obviously need upgrading. We will probably need a booster in 2022 and maybe beyond.

Just 7 local cases.

I'm looking forward to the first photos of supporters in a tram after the game.

It has been proven that COVID-19 does not take public transport. Boris proved that in the U.K months ago.

Where the fu** was that propaganda pasted up?

Do you recall where Le Rox used to be? In Light Square.
This was right at the corner of the building.
