Dunno about you guys but from my end there is not really much reason for me to question the direction since we've been largely one of the best handled in Aus. We're almost there now.

Can understand the frustrations though, it's been a long process. As someone else mentioned, if the ******* bogans would just get vaccinated we'd be months ahead of where we are now.

If we started vaccinating people 6 months before we should of like the rest of the developed world we all would be. Bogans will always be bogans. Natural selection will work out.

Marshall playing politics (he's a politician stands to reason),hiding behind the Grey Cloud's skirt has worked for him so far. Whether another Christmas ruined whilst the rest of the country and the world is open for business may start seeing public opinion turn against him and his banshee.

Maybe the state's Healthcare system, who've basically had nothing to do in this "pandemic" need to step up and take a bit of the burden off the hospitality and travel sector? Those in Healthcare have had it far too good for far too long. About time they took up a bit of the slack.

The healthcare system has had nothing to do? Geez that's so off the mark it's not funny.

In this morning's Murdoch press they are all over FREEDOM DAY in SA. What freedoms many of us will ask? We will still be required to wear masks indoors and log into venues with QR codes etc. Apart from the increase in numbers for family gatherings the freedoms are mainly associated with our borders and the ability to import the virus from plague ridden Victoria.

Adelaide Now has a more rational approach to November 23rd. As they outlined the changes that will actually eventuate...

Th media is completely opposite here in Victoria and Queensland and we'll have more freedoms than SA LOL. Gotta love Murdoch press.

Gut microbiota composition reflects disease severity and dysfunctional immune responses in patients with COVID-19

Objective Although COVID-19 is primarily a respiratory illness, there is mounting evidence suggesting that the GI tract is involved in this disease. We investigated whether the gut microbiome is linked to disease severity in patients with COVID-19, and whether perturbations in microbiome composition, if any, resolve with clearance of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

If nobody I know suffers a stroke, heart attack, aortic dissection, drug overdose, pulmonary embolism, suicide attempt or acute pregnancy complication, it doesn’t happen.

Everyday stuff. At the moment HEALTHCARE WILL FAIL is akin to public school teachers getting their Pupil free days getting knocked back from 10 a year to 7.

Lol no it won't.

Bogans thrive in adversity. Natural selection shall always favour them.

Not sure about that.. a lot of bogans are on their stomachs in ICU wishing they were vaxxed but it's too late.
Not every anti vaxxer is a bogan.

Anti vaxxers I know are people who have channeled their drive and brains to barking up the wrong tree, people who are not stupid but are doing a silly thing. Hitching to the wrong wagon.

Definitely not your usual beer and drugs and ciggies and fighting and top 40 music with a bit of barnsey crowds.

Sure... Just saying what I've seen and heard

This hardly fills me with confidence and confirms my suspicion that Marshall is toeing the line in a political agenda set by Morrison and Freydenberg. Clearly the Coalition is focused on getting the economy back into full swing regardless of the cost and SA is tagging along. There must be an election in the air.

In some parts of SA there is certainly a bad feeling in the air...

1 in 20 sick patients will need to go to hospital
By Andrew Hough

A small proportion of Covid-19 patients will go to hospital when Delta arrives in South Australia after borders reopen and restrictions ease, official forecasts show.
SA Health projections, based on interstate data, show five per cent of infectious patients will require urgent hospital treatment or intensive care help.
One in 10 patients will need supervised or supported care in Covid facilities such as the Tom’s Court medi-hotel.
SA Health forecasts show 85 per cent of Delta-strain patients will be cared for at home.
The state government is resisting Labor calls to immediately release modelling underpinning the state’s roadmap out of restrictions, including the precise number of patients that will require hospital help.
Premier Steven Marshall said it would be released shortly

So, If SA finishes with 200 cases a day 10 of those will be hospitalised. That is approximately 70 per week.
