Lockdowns in isolated countries with a very low number of cases can work to achieve local elimination. But then what? Just close the borders forever?

All they were going to achieve in countries where the pandemic had already spread was to cause social and economic pain with no net public health benefit.

Well there's no evidence that the cure is doing anything but there is that covid would wipe out a cancer ward, or anyone on immuno suppressants etc. It's a hard thing for some people to understand but vaccination is basically a way of protecting the vulnerable as a lot of people can't take vaccination so the heard immunity protects them - this is the problem with these 'but I'm healthy enough to take covid' kind of things. It's more about protecting the vulnerable than you personally. You might be on to something though in the overall wash up - should we have closed down cities or just let it rip, that's a different argument. The vaccine may very well have problems but the bs 'sources' used here so far are no substitute for scientific literature.

The vaccine won’t protect anyone. The WHO has already said that it won’t stop Covid19 from spreading or the vaccinated from getting it. When will you get it through your noggin that Covid19 only kills 0.1 to 0.3% of those who are infected. 100% of healthy people come through it with minor or no symptoms.
