Only when it affects them personally and that will come via no accrued annual leave because all these snap lockdowns will eat into it and those wanting that 1 week off to recharge the batteries will now need to rethink that decision.

Imagine a couple with one who can WFH and one who can't.

non WFH person: i have no annual leave left
WFH: what none, what did you waste it all on

Here's a follow up on the fake news 25 people party story I posted, not just an innocuous mistake, quote from the press release- "The attendees at the party have been placed in quarantine while the risk is assessed".

There was no party so who were the 25 people they placed in quarantine, blatant lie to justify their own existence and spread fear.

Sensationalism, this has really been the script since early last year, fear has been the inclusion. People will now become savvy to this, like many of the people here already, the pushback will be sweet to observe.

I've heard second-hand information from Queensland Health staff that the reason for the discrepancy is that the man in question was so drunk/high that he couldn't remember which weekend he'd held the 25-person party when QH asked him. If that's true, you two ought to eat humble pie for posting such arrant nonsense.

The health department actually told a lie. Only five people have been placed in quarantine. The 25-person party was held two weeks before the main character tested positive. They're saying his brother caught the virus from the doctor who tested positive recently, and passed it on to his brother. The doctor picked it up from attending a hotel quarantine internee.
