The dude should've just rode it out at home instead of getting tested and the abuse will only get worse with these governments making a federal case out of every single runny nose, the population are sick of the panic stricken reactions.

Spoke to mate who lives in Brisbane who is affected by this lockdown and he is ropeable, told me he and his missus are just going to take off for 3 days for a mini getaway because unlike last time they are not complying this time.

I've heard second-hand information from Queensland Health staff that the reason for the discrepancy is that the man in question was so drunk/high that he couldn't remember which weekend he'd held the 25-person party when QH asked him. If that's true, you two ought to eat humble pie for posting such arrant nonsense.

Still doesn't explain who the 25 people were the press release said that the authorities placed in quarantine. He was also very detailed about where he had been at what times and for how long, couldn't have been too high JB.

Its actually ridiculously illogical because based on the entire logic everyone who saw these 1321 should also be isolating and everyone who saw the people who saw the people from that 1321 should be isolating. I mean you could probably wind up at a point where Gladys in the press conference like

"My aunties dog walkers carpet cleaners step sons daughters uncle was at the Byron Bay Hotel and I will need to quarantine as a result".

Or maybe Anna could take her own advice and not panic with a lockdown which conveniently comes less than 24hrs after her health Department bullshitted about a 25 person party.

My usual shopping day is Wednesday(I'm in Brisbane), I was out walking today when my son messaged me around 9.30am to to let me know we were in lockdown for 3 days from 5pm so on my way home I popped into Coles to buy a couple of things ie. bananas, milk, yogurt and frozen berries. Not 1 banana left, very little milk and berries left and every 2nd person had copious amounts of toilet paper in their trolley. The place was bloody packed to the rafters.

Note- I realise the shops will be open but I'd rather not go to the shops during lockdown as I hate those f....ng masks and the power mad Covid marshals.

It is insane. To what benefit is there even getting tested now? You know symptoms are mild at best for 99.99% and if they're severe you'll go to the hospital regardless of a test. What is the point of going for a test at all? Just to cause lockdowns? That's the only reaction to a positive test. You aren't sick, no one else is sick yet we're shut if you're positive. It doesn't matter. Not only is this a clinical trial it is a major brain wash. The influence of media and the herd is too strong. People are psychologically locked into the loudest voice.
Even if you show them figures and explain the lower death numbers it doesn't matter. They will still believe. Only thing is hip pocket pain that will work.
