If given a true choice I'd prefer not to get the vaccine, if it is defacto compulsory and I am banned from travelling(I love trekking holidays) and watching AFL live I will get the vaccine under sufferance.

I wont be happy if it kills me though.

Me too but I saw the need for it, I don't with this one, it has a feel (to me anyway) of a rushed response. If you're healthy I don't see the risk to you being anywhere near significant enough to justify it and I don't buy the fear campaign that totally asymptomatic people are super spreaders otherwise teachers all over the world would have been dropping like flies, which I'm sure would have been wall to wall coverage in the media if it was the case.

Anyway as I said earlier I will get it if it is compulsory for travel and watching the Lions live... I wouldn't want to miss our GF win later this year. If I'm allowed to travel to Victoria.

I see making your own medical decisions as important but this issue is not one I would want to die on a hill for.

FWIW my children and grandchildren have all been vaccinated, but I don't want them to get this one, particularly the grandchildren, they don't have to get the seasonal flu vax which is more of a worry to them than Covid so why should they get this one.

Not when I went travelling you didn't. It was a medical recommendation for some countries. I CHOSE to have them when visiting those countries. Maybe that has changed but it definitely was the traveller's choice. That's all most people are asking for now, the right to choose. By all means have a vaccination available but it must not be made made mandatory either directly or indirectly. This whole blanket thing of 'you'll have to have it to travel', no, that is wrong.

. The WHO actually did conduct an investigation and came up with something like "no, wasn't a lab leak, it was likely(highly) via zoonosis", but it was not a proper investigation.

If we increase the cycles in a PCR test we could prove that we've all already been vaccinated and declare the pandemic over.

If we decide that everyone who takes a dump in the sewerage that has fragments of Covid is infact a previously infected host at 47 million cases we are well past herd immunity

Don't be too hard on yourself. You cannot get thru life without discernment or error. And what is bigotry but an error in discernment?
Why, if I were to walk a mile in your shoes, I might well find your bigotry to be a perfectly justifiable error. In fact, it is only thru our errors that we learn anything at all. So, if I was you, I would celebrate your bigotry, as nothing less than the path to correction and ultimately salvation.
