So talking to someone who has relies in the UK, one of them is keen to get tha vax so he can travel but it's not his turn yet (younger age group). Anyways on the off chance he goes to the vax place towards the end of the day and there are numerous staff there (about 20) and no patients. They told him to come in and get it as they'd only had three people come in to get the vax over the whole day. Doesn't sound like a huge take up over there!

Another story. I have a friend in America, she has had two doses of the Moderna one and she has had a mild reaction (fever) for one day after the second dose. Her 87 year old mum has had two doses of the Pfizer one and had a mild reaction after the first dose. So far both are OK otherwise. My friend didn't want to get it but felt pressured into it because of her elderly mother and husband who is immuno-compromised. She's advising her two sons not to get it as she is concerned about possible long term effects with it not being tested (especially regarding fertility).

Anyway that's a couple of stories from people I know and trust to balance against what we are being fed by the media. As I have said before, I'm just as sceptical of the horror stories about the vax as I am the horror stories about covid. In both scenarios real life is not giving me the same sensationalist information.

No, I won't be getting it no matter what I am threatened with. My body my choice.

I can't see how the TGA are still allowing the AZ injections with Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, South Africa to name some, either banning it's use for under 55s or banning altogether and USA haven't given it emergency approval.

Dr Swan initially interviewed on the ABC after the 44 year old was taken to hospital said German found deaths occurring in younger people, because of blood clotting in one per 100,000 people (50 deaths could be expected in Australia's 50 mil doses). However the latest spokesman coming out claims there is only a one in one mil death risk, although they don't say how they worked out those numbers. There are many more reported serious adverse blood disorders and thrombosis occurring as well as many more deaths occurring from heart attacks, infections, respiratory and vascular and general disorders that must be co-incidence.

All jokes aside, these are entirely experimental drugs - even their authors don't promise immunity only a reduction in severity of symptoms.
There has been no extended animal tests - so those who take it are the lab rats. The potential side effects are anyone's guess. The only immunity they offer is against legal prosecution to their makers.

All over the internet, there are scores of Doctors - warning that the immune system of the lab rats has been altered and that it is anyone's guess how it will react when it next detects infections. Organ failure, infertility, allergies are some of the predicted side-effects. Officially, these will be reported as evidence of new viral strains requiring further so called experimental vaccines. In other words, our intercessions against a harmless flu may well result in creating the monster we first wrongly feared.

Chile virus surge shows vaccine rollout may not end lockdowns, says Chris Whitty

A new coronavirus wave in Chile could be proof that a quick vaccine rollout alone does not necessarily guard against future surges of the deadly bug, Chris Whitty has warned.

Prof Whitty, England's chief medical officer, said the country offered evidence that inoculation on its own may not be a silver bullet in the fight against the deadly bug - and that new lockdowns could till be required in future.
