It's not as if they have zero community spread but no masks, schools and business open and they want it to stay that way.

It is a problem but most of it has to do with casualising the workforce through. I would hope that most managements and business's would be doing the right thing and encouraged their workers to stay home if sick.

Last place I worked at (permanent part time) you had to get a doctor’s certificate for ONE day off. Naturally people came to work when unwell.

On footy classified last night they were in panic mode re the Covid "case" in NSW, apparently this bloke was so sick that he was out and about at many places , the "variant" he had is described as highly contagious, a 10 out of 10 on the unofficial contagious scale..... it will be interesting to see how many of the hoards of asymptomatic who flock to testing stations test positive.

We never shut down schools at all. Parents are just asked a couple of questions at drop-off and that's it.

We're seeing more line-ups for vaccinations rather than testing now. I'm not even sure what our numbers are. I know it's on a downward trend now but still something like 700-800 cases a day for the Province and 8,000 or so for the country.
