Not at all offended, I do find it amusing that people here get so worked up when asked to provide evidence or a logic sequence of thinking that they resort to personal attacks though. Usually pretty quickly too.

Yes, I do spend some time trolling certain posters in this thread. In others cases it's less about trolling and more about asking people to justify posting absolute fantasy with any kind of logical or coherent thought process.

Let's not pretend for a moment that a number of people in this thread have any interest beyond posting about and validating their own self-serving wants within a group that tends to lean towards the more alternative views and explanations on things. There's also a number of people in here with genuine concern for others, I've also mentioned someone I know that has a number of alternative views on this pandemic who posts avidly on social media, and has a deep concern for the people in his life.

I don't believe everyone posting here is a bad person, but I do believe that some people posting in this thread have no interest in anything beyond their own personal wants, and see this whole thing as less of a matter of community concern, and more of an individual inconvenience.

The problem is; those people then use various hot-button topics as a way to repackage their selfish concerns and appear as though they have empathy or in any way care about others.

What are thoughts on Pfizer/Moderna/J&J being pushed as the better options? Seems convenient since they are making the most money out of it all. They are much more experimental than AZ.

I agree that the AZ seems to have been discredited w.r.t. Pfizer and Moderna. Still hasn't got emergency use authorisation in the US. Could be they're backing their own profits V Oxford AZ?

However both are experimental with previous failed animal trials they didn't try to relicate this time. Oxford AZ and J&J going simian DNA adenovector V Moderna and Pfizer, mRNA all to develop a spike protein.

One thing i have learnt over this past year is to look to the obvious clues, AFL have just sent all 10 vic clubs into a 7 day lockdown, why 7 days you ask well it's wednesday, thursday and then the 5 days we all get from friday to tuesday.

Just like an easter long weekend really but feel for those cafes and restaurants who are going to be blindsided again and will have to throw out food, lost wages for the casuals etc

When are people going to stop complying and start pushing back, beggars belief that they just keep obeying.

How are your posts not self serving precisely. What would self serving even mean on an obscure conspiracy board?
Detail how you could determine who is concerned about others, when we are all anonymous. How do you determine whether some one is a bad person - what the hell would that mean?

The primary purpose on an anonymous board is surely to explore ideas and expose yourself to views you may not otherwise come across.

I'm not advocating for lockdowns, if we go in to another one it's a big drama for me personally in more than one area but the virus is being transmitted in all the places we might expect it to be. First, among close contacts and family in the home.

Problem is as Australia's Emeritus Professor suggested, we could have taken the safe and effective medicine path, treating people that have symptoms. You will know if you get it!

If the infection developed into the more serious inflammatory stage in vulnerable people, we know how to treat effectively.

At the moment panicking, because a few people are testing positive with an unreliable test that the inventor and Canadian Dr Hodkinson (involved in manufacturing them) said never should be used, is propaganda madness.
