I really don't know, I assume it's been too wet to even have bushfires again at this stage in Aus.

I do remember hearing parliament trying to pass a law late last year to bring in foreign troops to Australia under some emergency act.

Just when we thought the Omnibus Bill (which passed following some amendments) was an overreach of authoritarian power, the Defence Legislation Amendment (Enhancement of Defence Force Response to Emergencies) Bill 2020 has been put forward.

This law will allow foreign troops and foreign police forces to be used on Australian soil against the Australian people in times of a declared “emergency”. Most likely under the banner of NATO or the United Nations.

References to fathers, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives and in-laws would be changed to “parent, child, sibling, spouse, or parent-in-law,” according to the resolution. Extended family members would be referred to as “child’s parent” instead of aunt or uncle, stepparents, and siblings-in-law.

Some celebrities will never be able to relieve themselves of the guilt felt for having so much in a nation where so many have nothing. Projecting moral superiority gets them some sleep at night.

Even if Alyssa has earnt every dollar, the fact she won't give any of it away means we all have to listen to her guilt ridden rants as a result. It's all she can do within her gated community to relieve the guilt.

Fair point. I’ve always seen her as a D-grade celebrity who is trying to remain relevant.

Remaining relevant in Hollywood today includes playing the role of simple idiot for the left. You certainly don't want to be in the other category.

I do believe though that by projecting the leftist political ideology, they're able to provide the impression they care, or are even humble. In reality they don't give a $hit, if they did they wouldn't do what we all do - hold on to everything we have and pay as little tax as possible.

Alyssa is one of these open border advocates, just as long as you don't allow any of those filthy Mexicans anywhere near her gated community.

Bushfire hotspots (Vic / NSW) haven't had strong, hot northerly winds yet this summer. It will come. All it takes is a couple of idiots to start the fires like last year, and basically every year we have them - away it goes. Cause = climate change. :think:

After some argument about what the virus was and whatever bullshit etc etc I asked

But for an actual doctor to say that has left me floored. This country is stuffed

More to do with planes being able to spray fire accelerants & even direct energy weapons can be used to fuel fires, Just look at the fires they've had in California in recent years. This isn't from wildfires considering all the tree's are fine, It's been mentioned house fire's can be started through smart metres somehow.

I wouldn’t be basing my assessment of a doctor’s competence on whether he’s taken the hippocratic oath or not. The hippocratic oath is a tradition based on a flawed concept of intellectual continuity. The truth is Hippocrates contributed very little to the progress of medical science aside from the treatment of broken bones and fractures. Contemporary medicine is based upon problem based learning which is a move in the opposite direction to the quackery that characterized the Hippocratic tradition of blood letting and purging.
