It is very uncommon for steadfast pro lockdown people to consider problems when it doesn’t directly affect them. Public servants could not fathom what sole traders and small business owners are going through and that pales into comparison when considering the potential affects in the third world. There’s a lot of faux empathy going around.

You can't use one isolated incident to say lockdowns should be banned.
Lockdowns do far more good than bad.
Have a look at England and America, hospitals overflowing with patients, morgues hiring freezer trucks, nurses in distress.
Your basing all your views on your rusted on ideology instead of using a common sense approach.
Lockdowns are necessary to save lives, health costs and are ultimately better for the economy.
If the virus gets out of control you have to lockdown for longer and that's worse for the economy.

I'm looking at England, now on lockdown number 3 following weeks of a tier system that meant the vast majority of the country was basically in lockdown anyway. What evidence they are working?

I’m interested to know what cues you employ to search for truth? How do you disseminate truth from lies? How people formulate a world a view is far more interesting to me than their opinions on COVID 19 or climate climate change.

Go to original sources, the Lancet, NEJM where what is being published is not even close to what the press is saying. Some "peer reviewed" and published information is fake, but this is called out 2 weeks after publication instead of being found out in the peer review. This happened to two fraudulent articles on HCQ and although they were retracted, the WHO still quoted them and the fake information was absorbed by media, and not corrected. Alarm bells started ringing when poorly designed internet surveys that didn't rely on any tests identify positive COVID cases, were called "gold standard" RCTs and published to push a fake agenda.

Go to original sources like interviews and direct quotes, and many may be suppressed so small publishers have bene important. For example, the person who invented the Rt-PCR test who says on many occasions this test should not be used for detecting infections and explains why, and this is supported by hundreds of drs and scientists world wide. But we are relying of positive tests, which can be turned up or down as wanted, and confusing them with positive cases

Follow the money as many who are making false claims have received huge amounts of money from those who will profit from the situation, or will lose their job if they speak the truth, or some are just useful idiots. Medical journal editors complain they are pressured by big pharma to publish what they want. People in positons giving governments advice are found to have big stakes in vaccine and pharma companies and have received money or positions that compromise them, as one example.

If you are not able to read and understand academic papers and check their research and references then you need to find an expert that can, because relying on some public officers and press to tell you what to believe when it's known that false information is being presented and fear is being used to present a different narrative. In my opinion, people that might start to question are usually ones that have had a personal experience where they discovered the press was lying to them or someone close they trust, or can't discount the value of education that included studying books or history with similarities or an upbringing that values critical thinking.

Sometimes it might be discovering that suppression or censorship of information is happening and you are being controlled to think or act in certain ways might make people search for the truth.

It was only to flatten the curve remember! Now its to eradicate the virus but not just the Covid19 Chinese corona virus but the UK virus, South Africa virus... How many countries are we gonna go through that are mysteriously gonna get mutated Corona viruses to keep this going for as long as possible?

I've been reading a few stories coming out of QLD.

“Myself and my daughter went to drive through McDonalds to get a coffee, weren’t wearing masks obviously, and they had a sign up you must wear a mask whilst ordering & paying.
The poor 15yr old girl asked where my mask was. I told her I didn’t need one. She walked away and then they parked us to wait for the coffee. Was waiting about 10 minutes. We got the coffee then came home and 15 minutes later police knocked at my door wanting to know why I wasn’t wearing a mask whilst driving.”
Edited to add she received a SECOND visit from them stating “they’d had reports of someone with your name posting incorrect information regarding COVID-19 on social media platforms” after posting about the Aussie Patriots rally last night.

Aristotle has told us it's almost been eradicated due to the hard lockdown Victoria had, But no type of flu has ever been eradicated through a vaccine or any other type of medicine.

I'm amazed how must trust/faith is placed in certain type's of people just because of the type of profession they're in or qualification they have. I don't trust/believe any of the advice coming from the health officials, politician's, scientists, Dr's that have been given any airtime through the msm the last 12 months, Because none of the advice has been beneficial for our health.

Yep. Those who reveal in authority, enforcing these rules or wanting to lock people up, curtail people have a sadistic streak about them. Maybe it's hidden by the customs of society but those who would report others, detain others and threaten violence for non compliance have a sociopathic streak and shouldn't be trusted.
They're a bit like these law and order types. Want to remake the world in their own image and everyone else is just a character in their own quest for power.
