They don't pay taxes, so the US taxpayer gets screwed both ways. This notion that the Republicans are better managers is a myth. The country is in dire need of infrastructure repairs, and yet all the Republicans seem to do is throw money down the defense black hole. To make it worst one-third of the budget is allocated to the black budget, which means that nobody knows where the money is going or how it is being spent.
