Certain jobs won't be available or hiring the non-vaccinated.
No public transport.
No concerts or sport events.

Apparently the goal is to have all of those things in place you've mentioned happen by 2024 for those who don't take the vaccine.

People still won't believe it either way no matter how much we try to warn them of what's coming.

It's "ok" now with all the restrictions but that soon means AFL/sport isn't coming there, bands won't tour there, much harder to get in/out to holiday or visit family interstate. It's bizarre they want that

I said earlier in the thread that most Sandgropers have this weird pride of being entirely different to the rest of the country. So much pride and ego that I reckon most would rather be a seperate nation that breaks away from Australia.

I love some good bants about #VICBIAS and #NSWbias and whatever else but thats generally sport or joke related pisstaking. COVID has made it real and I'd rather stand with Victoria than fight them

Pub Wednesday required I sign it. It didn't work, chick bartender was flummoxed about what to do "you can't be here if you don't sign in". "Just say I did then, you really turning down $ for dinner and 5 pints over this?". I wrote my name and number on a piece of paper in the end

Then grocery shopping next day I didn't need to sign in
Physios require you to wear masks now but they can rub and massage you. I have to wear a mask 8 hours a day at work despite being a button pushing office worker nowhere near hospital patients (WFH until this is removed). But they don't mandate washing hands, cleaning keyboards etc. Not an ounce of sense, none.

It's ******ed. No 2 ways about it. It's all brain-dead lunacy but the public refuse to do anything. "they just want their lives back". We can have that the second you stop talking about covid, stop watching the news, and stop giving it air. It is that simple

Same as Vic. Without anything open or events in it hospitality you realise just how boring it is. We don't have the golden sands spectacular natural wonders a habour even a good climate. So we adapt.
Shutting down or placing a handbrake on it kills the state.
