Girlfriend of a mate of mine just got a positive test yesterday. Her and her son. Whole family have to stay at home for a couple of weeks now.

Was this forced or voluntary testing, because if voluntary then why would you be selfish to put others into home detention by getting a test, brutal in the way i say it but that's the truth.

In my household tests, QR code sign in etc are all banned and i have even gone one step further and banned anyone from naming myself as a close contact as i do not give consent for them to do so.

Imagine being responsible for someone losing their job, missing a vital appointment or job interview, schooling etc because you selfishly went and got a test and named others as close contacts thus subjecting them to 2 weeks isolation as well.

If your sick just ride it out for a few days till your better then get back on with it, why risk home detention, lockdowns, curfews, restrictions, border closures etc by getting tested because that's all positive tests lead too, the whole world can end this by not getting tested, it is that damn simple.

Are they forcing tests in Australia? She did it because she felt unwell and has had contact with a lot of people so wanted to check. I don’t think we’ve ever had it as bad as it sounds in Australia in terms of lockdowns/curfews etc.

I want you to tell me that VIC didn't classify Brisbane metro as a red zone over that 1 case
I want you to tell me that VIC didn't reintroduce masks for indoors for a handful of cases end of december despite thousands and thousands of negative results
I want you to tell me that WA didn't reset the 28 day clock with Victoria over christmas/new year over a handful of positives despite 60 odd days of nothing before that.

go on TELL ME that none of that happened and that the panicky state premiers ruled in favour of all those negative tests instead.

We’re doing 400-500 cases a day in this Province. We’ll still never be locked down as much as we were back in March/April. There may be travel advisories but it’s not even legal to shut down a Provincial border.

Like i was saying. Positives equals closures, lockdowns, restrictions, curfews etc in this country. Those 2 people don't get tested and this extension doesn't happen and people like owen etc can LOL all they want but it's the damn painful truth.

If you wouldn't have seen a GP in 2019 with the same symptoms, WTF are you doing getting tested now?! You will recover in a few days if you're a healthy person. The 'experts' have told you this 100x. You getting tested only results in negative impacts to the rest of us.

That said I haven't signed in anywhere and won't so I won't have to do home detention anyway. The best part about that? The brainwashed, room-temperature IQ sheep will say I'm selfish for not signing in haha.

Our Premier said he’d never do it and has no grounds to do so. That said, most people are sticking pretty close to home.
