This is insane. Literally batshit insane. World leaders are mumbling behind masks on a world stage. Not 5 years ago everyone was decrying Iran or Afghanistan for forced coverings or critising North Korea for censorship. Yet we do the same.
I honestly don't get this. I must be getting old. But I'd Bumpswithagrin style lock the politicians up for treason or sack impeach whatever just get them outand let everyone else get on with life.
We've handled national emergency before. We need governments to control civil services not run our lives

Yes the 80s and 90s were bad and everyone was an arseh*le. Yet to flip so quickly to the other extreme is mind blowing. Story of humanity we have no regulation we go to extremes.

When i say all testing does is lead to positives which then leads to lockdowns, closures, restrictions, curfews etc, it that a conspiracy theory or do i speak truth.

The hotel quarantine worker who tested positive for COVID-19 last night worked with people who attended a staff party put on by COVID Quarantine Victoria (CQV).

In my book USA ,England and Europe stuffed up, China and Australia did very well by protecting lives and their economy.
Re testing I say test as many people as you can who have symptoms or have been a close contact.

I don't subscribe to that but I agree small business needed more financial support.
Bezos was just lucky he had a delivery business .
Forrest and Rhinehart are thieves I agree, and I'm all for a tax on the uber rich like them.

In Australia, I'm all for an eradication policy, it saved Melbourne in the end and as a former nurse I feel protective of other nurses and the risks they face.

Happy to report from the real world that most people I encountered today weren't observing Dan's new rule of masks inside, some were not even aware of it. Quite frankly, most people are just not buying the BS anymore and are over it. Good signs.

Saved the virus spreading to the rest of Australia, saved lives and saved us from a more prolonged lockdown.
