I've had this thought myself the last year. People have treated Covid like a war, yet want to win it without any casualties. Not that I wish to die, but I'm certainly willing to risk it re Covid to protect whatever freedoms we have left.

I've heard second-hand information from Queensland Health staff that the reason for the discrepancy is that the man in question was so drunk/high that he couldn't remember which weekend he'd held the 25-person party when QH asked him. No, but I can honestly see WWIII involving China breaking out in my lifetime. The rest of the world will have to decide what they do when China inevitably takes Taiwan by force.
