Federal Government to take some leadership given the international border is their problem, put some cash in, build a purpose built temporary facility (or multiple) similar to Howard Springs, which as far as I know, has had 0 outbreak issues.

Would save a hell of a lot of money that they've spent propping up hospitality and domestic tourism and allow mostly everything within the country to return to normal.

Instead we have the states running it, making the same repetitive mistakes, and stuffing the rest of us around.

We already know every single case will be traced back to an international traveller now after all.

The SA variant was a thing circulating prior to AZ from memory. They were in the initial stages of rolling it out.

Israel hasn't had a mutant variant and are the most heavily vaccinated country I believe.

No one who ever had the Coronavac vaccine ever has travelled to Manaus to help create a variation as some of evidence based concept to disprove anything i say is a reach. Even for you

My belief is the cause is person A gets virus, Person A gets virus a second time from someone who had the vaccine. Mutation occurs. A pretty basic concept id have thought myself. Im not really sure why a virus mutates when 76% of people get it for example and why thats some magic number as opposed to the correlation between a vaccine and a mutation for example.

And the same argument was made for Portugal and conclusively refuted as COVID cases dropped after Wnter ended despite the Jabs continuing.
