How do people think the power structures in the AFL work? The ultimate masters are the broadcasters and the AFL will do whatever it takes to get the games played. They have no interest in picking a fight with a state government over something as inconsequential (to them) as masks in the changerooms.

And forget the public backlash. Non-football people couldn't give a shit, the other clubs will tow the AFL 'don't rock the boat' line and fans of those clubs would LOL at West Coast getting punished.

What annoys me is, how come everytime Mark does a press conference he takes off his mask? He asks the waiters and waitresses of W.A to take and give orders wearing a mask so why wont he?

I think it's been the opposite. Especially in Victoria. No ethnic groups were mentioned during the outbreak, although due to customs, language problems and close family loyalty, it was clear the messages weren't getting through. Bambi Brett even apologised to one community for letting slip they were at the centre of at least one breach. I think this was well-intentioned but I'd like to think that extra efforts were made to ensure ALL groups understood and complied with directives.

Normally countries have governments that run things although I guess perhaps China is run individually by each 1.4 billion person so we will need to investigate all 1.4 billion to find out whose responsible. Gonna be a tough one but think we can figure it out. Im going to use the same crack team who investigated the Tiananmen Square massacre. They will see justice is handed out
