Nothing to worry about, will be dramatized to within an inch of it's life and just like all the other one's nothing will happen.
Won't be surprised if there's a 'snap lockdown' accompanying this
Borders shut (WA is a given here)

Nothing of note will happen with the virus, obviously but ThAtS bEcAuSe We AcTeD QuIcKlY & oN bEsT mEdIcAl AdViCe

I mentioned India in here on another virus thread only a week or so after the Four Corners covid doccy out of China aired. That was over a year ago.
Bolded part is my point, somehow you're arguing the indefensible. Indias healthcare was never brought up prior to covid

It's a dump and has been for decades but now it can be used as 'evidence' that covid spreads and the sheep lap it up

I don't always QR code because I'm usually in a hurry but I do all the other stuff, hand hygience etc. No, I'm not scared. And I don't think we'll be going in to lockdown over this.

So you are a hypocrite?

You cant be 75% invested in a situation and claim superiority im afraid. Either be all in or admit you have your doubts or dislikes like we are doing

Yes it was, India has always been a problem regards overcrowding, bad water and poor sanitation. It's not being used as evidence that covid spreads because we already know it does, it might be used as evidence that with massive numbers contracting the disease the opportunities for the virus to mutate is significantly increased.

Yes I can be half assed, half invested or 75% or whatever percentage I like depending on what kind of mood I'm in, how long I've been hanging in on the conspiracy board and under the influence or whether I'm in too much of a hurry to stand there taking pictures.

Do I look scared to you?

I'm trying to offer some balance as a community service and it's quite alright to disagree with me. Balance is important because I think some of the posts in here might be as frightening and confusing to some that casually check in as the virus itself.
Balance you say, you look like C7, C9, or the ABC with your fear crap.

To me it looks like you and a few others who venture in here can't handle the fact that we don't bow down to the virus and i reckon that pisses you lot off.

I moderate this board and I've been engaging in here on and off for some time. Settle down tough guy.

Do as I say not as I do is a pretty stupid way to be

We are the balance in this discussion surely? The side that believes shoving cotton swabs up your ass to check for a virus with no symptoms that was created when a bat had sex with a pangallin and some guy ate it all the while being 500m away from a virology lab isnt a side I want to call balanced

You're one side of the balance. I'm playing the other in this thread but I'm also one of those that thinks it's a real possibility this thing escaped out of the lab in Wuhan.

Fk me what's wrong with the world, they can't even find enough sick to prove their jabs help or do anything.

Proud to be antivax, I have a brain.

Moderna, for example, called hospitalisations a “key secondary endpoint” in statements to the media. But Tal Zaks, Chief Medical Officer at Moderna, told The BMJ that their trial lacks adequate statistical power to assess that endpoint.

Part of the reason may be numbers, says Doshi. Because most people with symptomatic covid-19 infections experience only mild symptoms, even trials involving 30,000 or more patients would turn up relatively few cases of severe disease.

“Hospitalisations and deaths from covid-19 are simply too uncommon in the population being studied for an effective vaccine to demonstrate statistically significant differences in a trial of 30,000 people,” he adds. “The same is true regarding whether it can save lives or prevent transmission: the trials are not designed to find out.”

Where have I lectured anybody on what they should be doing? The only thing I've gone in to BAT for really is the effectiveness of masks but wear one or don't, it doesn't affect me at all.

The man who tested positive for covid in Victoria came in from India, I thought there was a ban.

He said the man departed India and travelled via the Maldives through Singapore and on to Adelaide.
Must have got here before they closed the loophole about coming via a third country.

India's healthcare has been a dump for decades - agreed.
India's healthcare is now at a worse point than it has ever been, why is that?

Masks work in specific areas, like a surgery. Not for every day use where we touch them, move them etc. This is so bleeding obvious its not funny but the sheep are warped. Minds melted. They dont like to think, the tv does it for them

If they didnt work at stopping some airborne virus contamination Drs wouldnt wear them
Every tool is as useful as the idiot who controls it
I can understand that you have no faith in your abilities to wear one properly

People won’t wear them properly, or not touch their faces, or wear fresh ones often, until it’s demonstrated that A wore a mask and lived while B didn’t wear a mask and died.

Not everybody who gets the virus dies, just as some don't go on to have long term health problems but there's evidence of groups eating together at a restaurant where none wore masks and another diner gave them all coronavirus. None of the staff caught it because they were wearing masks.

Bugger, a guy in Wollert (outer north of Melbourne) has tested positive since returning home after being in quarantine in Adelaide

We should run a book on where he's been. (Shortest odds would be Bunnings of course).

They just haven't found which Bunnings it was yet.

You are such a loser Hawkie. No sense of reality whatsoever

As soon as you touch it, it isnt worth wearing. People move them, pocket them etc. They work in theory but not in any practical setting. Its nonsense but they have morons like you hook, line and sinker.

As i have previously said, if the government said to wear jocks on your head to save you from a mega variant, youd get a Bonds endorsement deal.
