Stupidity will take even longer, if commentary like yours is anything to go by.

IF YOU DON'T GET TESTED THEN THEY WON'T SHUT THE CITY DOWN

What if you're sick though?

IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE IT WON'T EVEN MAKE ME VERY SICK

I see

It will make you very sick if you are a obese unhealthy person for sure. Not a single person here would deny that.

Yeh, I did yesterday in here. And I'm now not waiting until there's community transmission, I'm picking up blood thinners Monday to take for two weeks before I get the jab.

Having done some analysis on figures at a couple of functions I had to organise recently, it's still affecting business. I'll take one for the team and those of you who are scared of the needle may benefit from my contribution to herd immunity.

Do you want to send some blood thinners to India? or should only everyone else take the risks you are not willing to take yourself?

I'm pretty sure Kurve said they were popping in the the jab on Monday a few weeks ago. How did that go?

A blood disorder has complicated things so I stalled a tad until I had all the right information and spoke to my specialist but it wouldn't have made any difference, the vaccines only just started to arrive at my GP.

The blood disorder I have is myeloproliferative, sends my platelets nuts. Clotting is related to your platelet count, so I take precautions but I'm booked in. If anybody else here is concerned over clotting, you could speak to your doctor about it and ask if you can get a prescription for what I'll take prior to the shot which is 100mg of Cartia EC for two weeks.

So no one in poor countries has myeloproliferative and everyone who does has myeloproliferative is afforded the same opportunity you have to take the proper precautions? You are coming from a position of privelege and assuming everyone else can take that same route. You came here before and said everyone should get the vaccine to reach herd immunity and then have described how you yourself have all these barriers which you are very lucky and that you can overcome them

What about the people who cannot overcome the barriers? Should they get the vaccine too?

Aspirin as a thinner is cheap and they probably make it over there but India needs the vaccines more than we do right now. imo.

Wow.

Its true though. Hawk Dork for example is happy for everyone else to be your guinea pigs before they take any risks themselves yet preach that we should all be taking the risks he isnt willing to take

What does that say about him?

Where has he said he won't take the vaccine though?

Saying he's got no need to take it now whilst supplies are scarce and there's a lot more high risk people who could be getting them, isn't the same as saying he is unwilling to get the vaccine in it's current form.

As usual, you live in a world of all or nothings. It's not a team sport where you pick one side.

He said it multiple times with the reasoning being he wont take the risk without seeing how it affects others?

How disigenuous can you be.

Im not

99% of this thread really is Australians disregarding the privileges we have and expecting others to behave in the same patterns we do. They cannot understand why a man in Brazil living in a slum isnt able to stay home where a mask and leave home 6 weeks later once the virus subsides for example. Or why those in India simply cant stay home and do the same.

The most disingenous thing a man can do is compare themselves to someone in a poorer situation then them and demand they behave like they are able too. Its a true lack of empathy as well as a complete lack of respect to the entitled positions we hold. Australians are largely ungrateful for the opportunities we have. Its why TV is filled with people complaining

Wanting to wait and see how things go seems sensible enough to me, if you're not in a high risk population.

That doesn't automatically equate to 'unwilling to take a risk' or 'letting everyone else be your guinea pig'.

This is nonsense.

Most disingenous and selfish thing said in this thread.

It wouldn't even rate inside the Top-100 most selfish or disigenuous things said in this thread. Probably not even Top-10 in the last 5 pages.

You just said

"The weak and vulnerable should take the vaccine first and if its OK ill give it a go too"

No regard for them at all. Disgusting attitude
