Work out the numbers of people, all the workers for those groups and their families etc... and you simply end up with an unworkable amount of society having to isolate.

No need to lockdown the workers if they are reasonably young and healthy, just have them follow strict protocols re masking and sanitising, only vaccinated workers etc.

We are locking the entire population now, even if only 50-75% don't need to be locked down it'd be worth it IMO.

I edited my post, add only vaccinated workers or put them to the front of the line to get vaccinated, I'm sure we have the know how to work out a way to do it without locking down everyone.

Which one is more important to them because at the moment it seems more people are charging the testing stations than the jab centres.

Get tested and isolate till result = can't get jabbed.
At work = can't get jabbed.
