Yeah I had no idea a Moratorium meant it’s just essentially a 6 month delay

Essentially just delays the enviable though
Im assuming you mean inevitable
At the end of 6 months with mass unemployment land lords will need to massively adjust their rents to match the market
and or flood the market with houses they can no longer service the loan on

It’s gonna be an awful time, economy wise, when the virus threat blows over.

Personally, I’m in some strife.

It's the people flouting the social distancing rules that will lead to more stringent rules, as well getting first dibs on all the icu beds. It pays to be an early adopter of coronavirus.
These people have been in the minority for the past week now, fairly confident given our flattening that we are seeing at least 90% compliance.

So you can’t evict someone in financial trouble as per what Scomo just said ?

Why would anyone pay there landlord in the next 6 months then?

Surely there needs to be a criteria that is met
Because your legal obligation still exists to pay your rent. Stopping evictions doesn't change that
People are still getting evicted currently, the protections aren't really there yet despite what the government says.

Don’t think you understand a significant portion of the population live on there own. Try living on your own for 3 months and see the psychological effects it has on people?

Combined with the fact a lot of people aren’t working, struggling for money, can’t see there families or friends face to face

It’s not easy as you are saying it is

have you thought about taking on a lodger for company?

Expected news

It was a known serious side effect.

After Trump announced weeks ago that it was a miracle drug, people bought it and took it to protect against covid 19

And some of them died from heart attacks.

Who buys and takes medicine without seeking medical advice on it first? Also sounds like they took something similar to the medication without it being the medication?

This has already been debunked as fake news but thank you for helping point out how garbage The Guardian is.

He mentioned both Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine in his press conference
They both are known to cause heart problems when you overdose, which means they can cause serious heart problems at other times given the right circumstances

You tell a bunch of scared people that there is a drug that can cure them, this is what happens

As the other poster above pointed out, it was fake news anyway.

Lets hope Clive didnt buy us all 1 millions doses

Clive Palmer says he’ll pay for more than one million doses of a malaria drug that could help fight coronavirus.

According to early studies, Hydroxychloroquine could prevent or reduce the severity of illness in those who contract COVID-19

Somebody that desperate to be liked is an easy mark.

It wasn't fake news.

Axios changed their story because it didn't reflect that it wasn't medication the guy took, it was chloroquine phosphate that he bought from a pet store. He still heard 'chloroquine', went out and bought it, and died. Yes it was stupid, but why would he do that? Probably because the president suggested chloroquine prevents it. Do you think he just woke up and thought 'I'm going to eat aquarium tank cleaner today'?

The number of posters I've seen mentioning that they're going to flirt with the rules because they're sick of being at home is astounding. Sometimes I forget that many of us really are as dumb as dogshit.
