Unfortunately you only have to look at the Fed libs to see what will happen. They've seriously ****ed the country and the other states for the next 6 months at absolute minimum until the rollout is 'finished'. Just a shameful attempt at governance.
LOL only until the next lot of cases a month down the road and we all get to go through this all again, time to stop worrying so much about it because cases are never going away EVER.Victoria with 14, but all are linked to known outbreaks and 10 were in quarantine for the entire infectious period.
Once again demonstrating you have to go hard and go early on this thing. SA also (touch wood) so far looking to be on track to end lockdown swiftly.
Maybe we should call them gold standards?
If your after 18 months still petrified of cases then you will forever petrified of cases where therapy is your only option to move on because 2,3 or 5 years down the track a breaking news announcement on the radio will have you panicking that there might be cases.
I remember it being somewhat of a relief when our cases dropped under 100. That was for the British Columbia, not even Canada. 50 to 100 is pretty much a given for now.
Good news IMO, want people to get the jab then let it rip and show them the reason to get it, hiding away in pursuit of 0 won't convince people to get the jab.
NSW are in for a world of hurt. Even if their problem area LGA's are double vaccinated, it'll still spread and seep into other LGA's due to their mockdown.
Hypothetically what happens if 3 months down the track, NSW has 80-90% full vaccination due to getting the entire nation's supply of Pfizer and there are still cases spreading? The rest of Australia will still close their borders to them as the other states will not have had any vaccine and would be sitting ducks.
It surely has to end in a proper Dictator Dan stage 4/5 lockdown or an admission of letting it rip. Right now they're doing a bit of both.

The only 'positive' with the NSW situation is that it will get people used to the fact that cases will be circulating in the country forever. The downside is that this has happened far too early with severe limits of the vaccination supplies. It would be a very different situation if this has happened in 3 or 4 months time and everyone had access to the vaccine at that point. Instead they've given up too early which has the potential for a very destructive few months for the country.

Really? People seemed pretty angry with him during that harsh lockdown last year. I guess that was anecdotal. His popularity seemed to stay high.

Sure people were pissed off at being locked down but these clowns stoked the fires for personal gain notice the silence when its a Lib state
