The VIC daily case numbers per test are fast catching up with Sydney's current rate.
Might only be a matter of days before they overtake it.
Then again, it's just a game.So the SA govt isnt letting the dogs have their captains run.
The team and staff havent been in Vic or NSW since August 20 and have tested negative 14 times since then.

How given we locked down so early is there such a big divide in mystery cases?
If you look at Melbourne most of it is mostly covid free. The vast majority of the growth has been confined to the northern and/or western suburbs. Any of the few cases that pop up elsewhere do not result in rapid increases in cases due to seemingly strict compliance with rules.
We're at the point now where its only really the western and north western lgas need to remain in lockdown. Everywhere else should be on the same restrictions as regional victoria.
Don't expect Dan to do that though because that would be seen as penalising his political support in those areas.
I understand your logic but the practicality of separating the North/West and South/East of Melbourne would just be too hard
I bet that if there was a major covid outbreak in say Mornington Peninsula and the western suburbs were pretty much covid free they absolutely would not be kept in lockdown.
My oath they would
Mornington Peninsula has been considered metro since day one.

Then cases started popping up again and it was clear within a week the original outbreak had already spread to other areas undetected. How given we locked down so early is there such a big divide in mystery cases?
