Yeah definitely would feel hollow compared to other seasons.

*I do feel sorry for Liverpool fans. The gloss has well and truly been taken off their remarkable season. They will “win” the trophy after a group of emotionally checked out players force themselves to play in front of no crowds, whilst the coronavirus pandemic continues to devastate the world. Rotten luck the timing of everything.
How would you know?Yeah definitely would feel hollow compared to other seasons.
Liverpool fans seem to get upset when you point this out, when the reality is you’re trying to sympathise with them. Very bizarreI do feel sorry for Liverpool fans. In fairness there’s a difference between wanting people to die and not caring whether they do. I don’t think anyone here wants people dyingHey guys let try and be civil with each other a bit more, saying posters on here want people to die so they can see a trophy is going a bit to far. I don't want to start banning posters.
Been following football 20 years mate. Seen my side win a few league titles and some cups. How would you know?
But have they ever won it during a pandemic?Been following football 20 years mate. Seen my side win a few league titles and some cups.

Theres not much of a difference and i dont think any poster on here doesnt care if people die either. The lines been drawn. In fairness there’s a difference between wanting people to die and not caring whether they do. I don’t think anyone here wants people dying
So what is the current state of play with English Football.
The Premier League definitely to be resumed and completed, with the fate of the Championship and League One, and the FA Cup to be decided, and the lower tiers of the Football League called off ?

WSL and the Women's Championship have been called off. No decision on placings etc.
Why isn’t it medically safe to resume ASAP? Nearly 60m (and climbing) people die across the world annually. That’s 5m humans every month. Sweden didn’t shutdown their economy while the UK did. There has been less deaths per capita in Sweden than the UK. Guess who still has a functioning economy out of the two?Nothing is a definite for a resumption. All dependent on being declared medically safe. Same with Championship. League 1/2 less at stake, was reported they will be finished off as PPG or weighted PPG.
You realise that Covid is contagious right? Cancer the biggest killer isn’t contagious is it. 50,000+ in the U.K. have died with Covid as at the very least a contributing factor. How many more would it have been had we not locked down. Sweden is an interesting case, but they are a society who are very cautious and unlike the U.K. the government can trust the vast amount of citizens to behave sensibly. If there’s no economy where does the money come from to finance socialism, health, education, law and order, etc. Lets not forget all of the jobs and businesses that are and will go bust. This is financial disaster that will cripple the world for generations.
For starters, total deaths from Covid19 have been greatly exaggerated. You’ve got people dying across America and Europe from the usual causes of death. However, if the deceased had Covid19 in the system, that is put down as the cause of death. You realise that Covid is contagious right? The facts are established I’m afraid Lebbo. At its height over 1000 people a day were dying in the U.K. having tested positive for Covid. The vast majority if not all of these people would have contracted the virus before lockdown as it takes usually 3-4 weeks to die from it. We know it doesn’t kill the healthy but it certainly puts the elderly and those with serious health issues at risk. What are you going to do just let those people succumb to the consequences? The U.K.s excess deaths is way up on previous year’s also. Unfortunately people are staying away from hospitals out of fear of the virus and are succumbing to other health issues. To put Covid into perspective 450 people die from cancer every day in the U.K. As I’ve said despite lockdown nearly three times that amount were dying from or with Covid at its height. No lockdown would have seen the numbers quadruple at least, and the NHS would have collapsedFor starters, total deaths from Covid19 have been greatly exaggerated. Also, when was the EPL suspended? In that time the UK normally has nearly 2000 deaths per day (not Covid19 related). It’ll very interesting to see what the total deaths for 2020 amount to. My house says it won’t show up as anything worse than a bad flu season.
Not surprising really with so little at stake.

Shows that money is the only reason a return for the premier league, not sporting integrity as has been claimed.
