Ha ha ffs.

Chester warned by the Welsh police that they've broken covid laws by allowing more than 50 into their games. Chester is an English town but their ground is deemed to be part of Wales.

If they played in their carpark they would be allowed as many as they want.

Had a brilliant weekend there at the races last time I was over. Nightmare to park though.

Countries suffering Covid outbreaks will have to play their Africa Cup of Nations matches even if they have only 11 players available.

New guidelines from the Confederation of African Football (Caf) state matches will still go ahead even if none of the 11 players is a goalkeeper.

Any nation unable to fulfil a fixture will forfeit the game 2-0.

The guidance has been issued after several nations reported Covid cases before the tournament starts on Sunday.

Not like they can just wait 7 days and reschedule the match. Guess theres no choice.

Ludicrous considering they fielded a team on the weekend easily.
Might have got some false positives overnight.

Hearing its the done thing.

Even the weakened team argument is bogus. After injuries, AFCON and Covid I reckon Liverpool could start have started with this team against Arsenal.

Kelleher
Gomez
van Dijk
Konaté
Robertson
Fabinho
Milner
Henderson
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Jones
Jota

Jota, Henderson, Milner, Oxlade Chamberlain, Neco Williams all couldn't play the FA Cup match due to iso. Kelleher couldn't have played either, he only came out of iso on Friday. Our lineup in the FA Cup tie was telling.

The games to postpone for us were Spurs away and Chelsra away after outbreaks prior to both.
