SA clubs can't travel so the whole season is in danger of being suspended. Adelaide will argue the season couldn't be completed and is therefore null and void. The draft order needs to revert to the most recently completed season - 2020 - and they take Jason Horne. Yeah nah, fu** off Adelaide.

nah we'll add 20/21 together. Adelaide 8 wins North 6.5

Are you kidding me? Again you keep going on about permits and essential workers.

Do I have to repeat myself. This virus doesn’t give two shits if you have a permit or are classified as an essential worker. The guy should have shut his borders to NSW period as soon as the outbreak came to light. I’m not sure how essential moving a family from NSW to Victoria is when you consider what has now transpired. One bloody expensive move for Victorians.

As much as McGowan is a clown, do you think he would be allowing removalists and people to move from NSW into WA from a COVID hotspot? The guy sent a police escort for a football side FFS.

Look at the facts, as far as the impact of COVID goes Victoria, now closely followed by NSW has been affected most.

Next you will be telling me the guy is doing an awesome job, but just got unlucky?

Wake up and smell the roses, we are being led by a buffoon.

Its the old story. Argue with an idiot and you know what happens. Clearly you have chosen not to look at what I said and at least one other has posted before in this thread. The removalists entered under the rules allowed by the National Cabinet.

I don't agree with those rules but it was agreed and then implemented by the industry itself, not Daniel Andrews alone.

And you show your political bias again by calling McGowan a clown. He is not a clown but rather an excellent leader, endorsed by a large majority of West Australians in the last election just a few months ago, leading to almost the decimation of the Coalition.

FWIW, and it won't register with you, I think last year, all of the State and Territory leaders did a terrific job along with the Federal Government, in preventing Australia from being in a far far worse situation than we could have been had we gone down the track of so many other countries.

This year, I think only Gladys has let the team down when it comes to Lockdowns.

Clearly now there is a problem also with the slow rate of vaccinations/supply of vaccines, but I'm not going to bag the Federal Government for that because, firstly it is easy to be wise after the event, and secondly, I think they were let down by the failure of some suppliers to provide what they promised they would and thirdly, being an Island nation, with low transmission rates and a pretty good record of keeping it that way, I would rather see vaccines delivered to those countries which need them most.

That last paragraph may be unpopular with many but that's my opinion

That's a stupid exception (sorry TAO) anyway. Victorian lockdowns working on the assumption random rooting won't pass around a virus.

With TAO's approach to safe sex, I'm sure he'll be fine...

Actually Dan is doing his job. He locked down really early, despite the protestations of many people in business. Not sure why you talk about businesses 'sent to the rack' when Andrews could hardly have lock-downed earlier, even as those businesses' very representatives continually complain about lockdowns ... Look at the Liberal opposition leader, continually sniping at the lockdown.
Here in NSW we took weeks to lockdown properly - let's see your equal virulence for Gladys.

I think Roosurgence is right in his point that the removalists never should have been allowed to cross the border. Even if the move had to go ahead there are easy alternatives to having one team and truck pick up and drive interstate to offload. The Vic government dropped the ball.

Once it was here don't think we had an alternative to locking down. Dan is a dick and he has screwed up a lot of the response and lied about it but the current lockdown is the right approach until they are confident they have it contained within the contact tracing bubble.

Gladys has generally managed the NSW covid response well, but she definitely should have moved faster and harder on the current outbreak. A 7-day hard lockdown implemented a week earlier may have made a big difference to the outcome.

And a sex symbol (State Daddy some say)

There’s a post earlier in the thread noting how many hundreds of thousands of interstate removals have occurred without incident since lockdowns started, and that it continuing with covid-safe conditions was agreed by all the states.

Well I see there are now 300 exposure sites. I couldn't find on the list, 'bushes outside the Women's Hospital', a very well known exposure site.
How do I let the Government know, should I send Dan an email?
Don’t worry TAO, I think they have you on some sort of list…

This may have already been posted as I don't have all the cool kid socials, but a mate of mine sent me this. I found it amusing.
