This is really neat. It's exactly the type of health communication that should be widespread and would be effective imo.

Absolutely. That is one of the coolest, and most brilliant pieces of media I have seen in years.

Explains it in simple, but non-condescending ways possible; with great visuals to enhance the delivery.

If you want to get angry at something, get angry at this

A quick google search will tell you the address of the business this sign is at.

Someone is using the vaccine mandate as an excuse for racism.
Possibly. But I would note, indigenous peoples have a higher chance of underlying health conditions that we are not aware of.

It may simply be a poorly worded call for people to be careful or aware.

I have a great respect for the indigenous people in the effected communities.

They are doing it tough in atrocious conditions.

This is the weather forecast for the next week.

I think the the juvenile bail laws in the NT are more deserving of anger than that.

3 more players test positive

“Meanwhile, three North Melbourne players have joined the AFL’s growing list of COVID-19 casualties.

Two of the players are in the club’s senior core and aren’t required back to training until December 6 while the younger player had started his pre-season campaign before being sent into isolation.

The trio have suffered no health issues from contracting the virus with Roos officials confident there will be no lingering effects.“

That's hilarious, good one! Imagine a world where newborn babies are vaccinated just after birth!

I know right. Especially with a drug that has not been tested at all on infants for a flu that has a .00001% chance of killing a child under 12 unless they have severe health issues.

This might be old news for everyone else, but kind of interesting if not.

A group of thirteen 20'somethings go out for dinner, according to the author they're all fully vaccinated, and days later 11 of the 13 test positive, we're led to believe the dinner party is where everyone was exposed, makes sense. If we take it that "fully vaccinated" means that it had been at least 2wks since the 2nd dose for all 13 of these young adults, and 11 of them then test posititve, the tests are correct and they would have all tested negative prior to the dinner then... wowsers.

I know someone whose partner tested positive and he and their three kids all stayed negative despite being around her constantly during her infectious stage prior to positive test. All fully vaccinated. It's a bit of a crap shoot but statistically you are significantly less likely to get it if vaccinated and there will always be outliers like above.

if one of them had it and they are all sitting around each other eating indoors it makes sense that they are more likely to spread it to each other. No one got severely sick tho.

11 of 13. nobody got severely sick, which is just as you'd expect if they werent vaccinated. i wonder how the infection rate went for all the other people present on the night. was there something specifically special about how this group went about things that should be on a warning poster on every restaurant window? one of the participants said she would do things differently if she had her time over, here is a consequence of the narrowing down so hard on vaccination as the measure of risk and almost mythologising their impactfulness.

fingers crossed for all cases, breakthrough or not, that they don't pull the short straw.
