Surely ScoMo needs to mandate masks indoors and on public transport.

This SA cluster has come out of no where in 2 weeks.

Doubt it would have happened with masks.

From what I can work out, 1 Returnee, 1 hotel employee-contractor, family etc. Covid19 spreads. It's going to happen from time to time, I'm impressed with how quickly the SA tracers have got onto it and how many contacts they've been able to identify, Victorian Govt, take note. 1 incident in months.

SA weren’t testing quarantine staff regularly. They have got lucky, as most of the positive tests have been in asymptotic patients.

SA are going the early shutdown. IF Vic had their time again, they would have too.

Lots of lessons have been learned in Victoria, let’s hope that they aren’t forgotten.

Quarantine hotel cleaner picked it up from a surface, apparently. Then went home and it was passed to family members, one of whom works in a pizza shop. They are all asymptomatic, I believe.

Also hearing that regular testing of workers is below par. Have they learned nothing?

Testing of quarantine staff weekly is nowhere near enough IMO.

This is how's it's going to get out from this point. Needs to be way more stringent.

We have proven quarantine works when done correctly so we should now tighten it even more.

Isn't that alarmism ? Andrews wants to go top of the table in the my-states-safer-than-yours competition, small business in Melbourne pays. That's an expensive ego trip for the highest paid Premier in the Country. I haven't seen any change in in protocol in SA, where is your change ?

Less infectious, as you aren’t coughing the virus everywhere. BUT also more likely to transmit other ways due to you being out and about.

Protocol said 6 days. It should be daily. I haven't seen anything about an issue of how often that guard was tested, where did you get that ? Isn't it just statistics ? It happened in Adelaide. It could have been in Qld, WA, even remote indigenous communities in outback NT.

The SA outbreak was only detected when a young doctor heard a patient coughing. She had no other symptoms and wasn’t in hospital about anything Covid related....

SA got lucky and should be giving a great big thanks to that doctor. The doctor is probably in isolation as we speak.... let’s hope the doctor hasn’t caught Covid and IF they have that they recover quickly.

ALP is not a ‘left’ party, it’s a slight right bias.... a ‘left’ party would campaign to increase unemployment benefits amongst other socialist ideals.

Even the Greens (actual left wing), aren’t objecting to using NT quarantine facilities. It’s what we should have been using in the first place, as they are mostly vacant AND we are still paying for them to be run.

Abbott is/has been a fire fighter and life saver. He dossed in with AFP recruits for a while in 2013. He wouldn't turn a hair at offshore detention.
