Should not will. Hard to see governments ignoring him though. All mass public gatherings of more than 500 people will be banned. Advice from the Chief Medical Officer
THE GP in particular could get away with it. The bulk of their money comes from europe and broadcasting there. 90% of the fans live over there, hence the race being moved back a few hours to accommodate them. Bahrain's decision to race without crowds looks like a good call in hindsight, but with that scheduled for next weekend, those who are quarantined here already will have to miss that event also.Without fans, it’s nothing really.
You're not infectious until you have symptoms, I believe.

Immune? There’s been reports of people getting re-infectedYou’re clearly doing as you’re told and doing the right thing. However if everyone takes off two weeks every time a friend of a friend shared a banana with Tom Hanks surely the whole country will be effectively shut down for 6+ months.
My plan would be to lock all young, fit and healthy people in Marvel Stadium and infect every one of them. They sweat it out for 2 weeks and that’s them immune.
Might as well crack on with the footy season while we’re all in there too. The attendance figures would be fantastic!

Don’t know mate this whole virus is hurting my brain. Read so many different reports don’t know what to believe it’s fckedIf they didn't develop an immunity there would be no opportunity to be "re-infected" because they'd have never recovered from the initial infection. Right? Unless it's rapidly mutating which I don't think is typical for a corona virus.

Hopefully people won't get reinfected, but in theory they could have enough immunity to get over it then get reinfected, like with cold viruses etc - but would think that is unlikely
Then how do they identify them? Many reports of people who are not showing symptoms and spreading the virus.
Then how do they identify them?
The Health Minister doesn't want people presenting for testing who don't have symptoms. Self-isolation first for 14 days. If during or after that time symptoms appear, that's when you get tested.
I have given up on mainstream media and am now getting all my updates from this thread. Lots of interesting discussion, the one about the zombies concerns me though - how do I know if I’m a zombie?
I wonder which club.I'm hearing a club doctor has been infected.
If that is the case, surely the players will be quarantined for 14 days, meaning they can't play Round 1
I wonder which club.
Hopefully implemented this afternoon before the NRL tonight.Should not will. Hard to see governments ignoring him though.
I'm not sure but it is inevitable that players/club officials will catch it and make a mess of the season anyway, regardless of crowds. Might as well just cancel everything now IMO but I guess there's no rush until games are due to start, besides stopping training.I'm all for cancelling the season if it means slowing the spread and not overloading hospitals/avoiding preventable deaths, but can anyone explain how the same thing could not be achieved by just having (admittedly weird as fu**) empty-stadium games?
