I had given up for a few months and had a few over Easter.(not silly just a shared bottle of wine over lunch)
It feels good to not have any today or the next few days
Will have a shared bottle on Friday with pasta
Back on the wagon?! :D

Not sure if it counts as a positive but eventually we will be able to talk about something other than COVID-19. We will be able to have conversations, make plans etc. without every ****ing thing invariably coming back to the virus.

About the only thing I did today where COVID-19 didn't factor into the equation was deciding what to have for breakfast in my own house, and that's because I wasn't out of anything I needed. Didn't go into the office as normal, COVID. Thought about going out to the shops to get some things, COVID. Didn't play social sport, COVID. Thought about dinner, cook or get takeaway only, COVID. Etc. Barely two months ago most people didn't even know what a coronavirus was, now we all say and think about it all day every day. Can't wait for the day that ****s off.

When the PM, world leaders and medical persons talk about #flatteningthecurve, they were not referring to cases. They were talking about number of times covid is mentioned in news services/conversations etc (in '000,000s)

I never eat breakfast Mon-Fri, now being at home I'm having a cooked breakfast every morning. Totally killed my fasting game but god damn sitting down to a cooked breakfast is a great way to start the working day.

Likewise normally. I just go to work and then have a coffee there and maybe something to eat before lunch.

With free time I'm all about bacon, eggs, hash browns etc. but I stay full for ages.

Holy crap - how cheap is petrol at the moment!?

It's almost as if OPEC / the fuelopolies are pooing themselves because you don't need to buy much petrol if you're locked down.

My local was in the range of $1.60 not that long ago. Today $1.06

I'm under the assumption that they will have to pay what is owed eventually.
It's just the straight out whining and demand for relief......****ing save up you muppets for a rainy day. Barely a month in and people are in strife......ridiculous how people live so far beyond their means.

Still over $1.30 in Tassie. Thieves.

Steak and/or sausages and eggs FTW.

Except for diesel, which makes zero sense as it’s actually cheaper to make than unleaded. Surprised there hasn’t been more of an uproar about this.
