I get it, I do, but are they really? Aside from a news article and a facebook post here or there the much needed respect they'd likely appreciate is a pay rise.
Yeah they really aren't. It's like saying that retail workers get much needed respect at Christmas time each year when they are under the pump and everyone else is winding down. Nurses, shop staff etc. will all be forgotten about once life goes back to normal.

Yep they will as they should.i do wonder if perspex screens at woolies and other outlets shall remain after the corona has gone away
Yep they will as they should.
I hope that people giving eachother a wide berth as they pass while walking etc continues too
Best way to ensure an elevator by yourself is to get in first and start unzipping your fly and drop the pantsThe biggest challenge shall be when workers in CBD high rise buildings queue to enter the lift. Do they exercise social distancing then? Or cram in my an elevator orgy

One hopes that this has been a learning (flattening the) curve, if sick stay homeAnd whether more workers using them will turn up at work sick with something and not be sent home, just because of this additional protection.

Might as well remove them now, why you ask, well I'll tell you........i do wonder if perspex screens at woolies and other outlets shall remain after the corona has gone away
You think Woolies came up with that idea? It was happening in Europe 3 weeks before 'woolies had an idea'. Australia has been following the leaders and thankfully, have been able to learn a bit and reduce their risks. Im sick of all this but that isn't something to be worried about.Might as well remove them now, why you ask, well I'll tell you........
Because now they request that I pack my own bags, I stand at the end of the counter as I am getting handed the items and there is no perspex separating me from the cashier.
Just another braindead idea that wasn't thought through by woolies amongst the many others out there that I have taken great delight in observing.
I couldn't care less overall but I am just loving pointing out all these common sense mistakes everyone is making in their obsession to observe social disconnecting and the like.
Wouldnt it be better to carry sanitiser instead of gloves ?You think Woolies came up with that idea? It was happening in Europe 3 weeks before 'woolies had an idea'. I remember the day I first saw the perspex in a supermarket, about 5 weeks ago. I was one of about 4 people in the supermarket and thought, 'How ******* good is this!' Then arrive at the cashier and there's this perspex wall.. Ok that makes sense I guess. But then how do you pay? France has a 40 euro max on tap and go (was 20 until last year) and obviously cash is not ideal to be handling. And I had 140 euro in booze. Was wearing gloves, so took my card out and put my pin in, then at what point do you remove the gloves? Ive touched my wallet, my card.. Do I keep them on for the drive home? What if I have to drive again today.. new set of gloves... But oh shit we are running out of gloves(we bought 2,500 pairs 7 weeks ago and are out).
Australia has had 6,000 odd cases, with a whopping total of 4 new ones today. Thank your lucky stars man because so far you've escaped having to really deal with it! And that perspex may just have helped a bit.

I don't know who invented it and I don't care and plus I'm one of those who is not fussed with this virus, if I get it I get it and plus it's very hard to hide from something you can't see.You think Woolies came up with that idea?
