Problem is there are still too many here in Melbourne who......

1. Wear a mask while driving alone in their car
2. Wear a mask while riding a bike
3. Wear a mask while running
4. Too afraid to lower their mask to talk on the phone
5. Too afraid to lower their mask to eat or drink
6. Too afraid to just stop wearing a mask
7. Just too afraid.

the same cowards who enter a freeway and drive at 70k/hr because they are too afraid to drive at 100k/hr

These people are the problem.

It's certainly playing a part. Media will keep covering what rates, so long as people keep giving it so much air, it'll continue.

I don't believe in the conspiracy aspect of this. Public servant incompetence is nothing new and politicians will always play political games. As the polls sway, so too will their plans. If Andrews popularity plummeted with lockdowns they'd have been eased sooner. The idiot people are the problem at this point

Giving credence to the 'conspiracy' though. Why do hospitals get more $ for covid than flu? Why do aged care homes get more for covid deaths than others? Why has the flu disappeared completely only to be replaced with something very bloody similar. Why do masks prevent flu spread as it has, but not covid? Why does it not spread in school but does church, gyms, not at BLM rallies but local sport was cancelled?

I could go on all day about the stupidity of the rules and the people following them. Doesn't mean I believe any conspiracy about 5G, microchip implant vaccines...

Crisco is a place you can by Christmas hampers from, the idea being you can pay in installments and don't have a big spend at Christmas but they are really bad value. So the customers are dumb because they can't work our out that it's actually costing them more. There is a whole thread on here somewhere about them.

I’d say Canada is fairly similar - especially the west. Numbers are fairly comparable. Australia did a good job getting the numbers right down. Was that lockdowns or masks? I’m not sure.
