If it helps - make sure he is aware of the recent changes to insolvency laws. The media didn't report on it (probably because they dont understand and realised most readers wont either). I cant remember all the details, but they've increased the amount you can owe someone before they can force you into bankruptcy from $2k to $20k. You also have 6 months to pay it and you can trade while insolvent for 6 months without your personal assets being liable. I think the idea is to allow you to get through to the other side when cashflow starts up again.

Of course its true. Where is the hate for Xi Jingping? They covered it all up, imprisioned doctors, bought up all the medical supplies from other countries (while saying there is nothing worry about) and then diverted medical equipment to the local market even for foreign owned business. Then they have the nerve to claim that any blame towards them is racist.

What about the WHO? The leader is compromised due to his country recieving billions of needed investment from China. They claimed there was no person to person transmission and claimed travel bans were not needed (were even critical of those that did impose bans). All while praising China (see previous paragraph). Then THEY have the nerve to claim the world missed the 1st window to stop the outbreak and needed to do more.

But of course you have nothing to say about them do you? Media didn't tell you so you don't know/care.

Well I've just caught up on the last five pages and the talk back when lockdown was the main topic has me concerned.

Imagine the government controlling when certain people go to shops. Whatever the day and whatever the criteria like someone said - January & February goes on Monday etc. Imagine changing your entire life because you're criteria means you have one day of allocated shopping. When you go to the shops (and everything you buy - because no cash) is trackable and can be predicted.

More cameras on the roads and face recognition - I know CCTV serves a purpose which I am for but there needs to be a balance. I don't agree with facial recognition anywhere but an airport or maybe a dock.

Small businesses barely survive. Most die. Only the biggest and richest companies control the market now. More so than they do currently.

I know nothing has happened yet, and I agree a lockdown will be beneficial, but I hope to hell that we don't just let the government dictate what we do post lockdown. I want to keep my freedom and liberties. I'll be labelled a conspiracist and Kane will send me to the conspiracy board whilst everyone else froths over McGowan's every word, but some serious loss of privacy and freedom is a very, very real risk

Laws restricting people’s movements and what they can and can’t do are an unfortunate necessity due to the current crisis

People having valid concerns about some of these arrangements not being reversed when this is over are justified

I think its a little more insidious then that.

There has been a distinct lack of commentary on China's role in the initial months. Between constant praise from the WHO (lol) and even calling it the Wuhan Flu being labelled racist it almost seems like a concerted campaign to wipe out China's incompetance.

China has already tried to blame the USA for the outbreak and it seems those who want to do business in China are happy to take the same line.

Outside of Trump basically have many other countries have even mention the behaviour of China? Italy is being absolutely mauled due to their close business contacts with China yet now propaganda videos circulate in China of Italian's saying 'thankyou China.'
