I’d read it potentially has a negative impact on treatment of covid-19, but WHO says there’s no evidence of that and it is safe to use to help manage symptoms.

Edit: article from the BBC recommends going with paracetamol just in case.

Consider that TAS has about 500k people and NSW 7.5M, they actually have a similar rate of infection. We're not that far behind either in WA (pop 2.5M) but a lot of ours have come from these freaking cruise ships, so hopefully it is better than it looks.
